Max has been here a long time. Longer than she'd want. Vecna had put her in here. He'd chased her down but she'd hid in this cave. Vecna wouldn't go in. He was genuinely terrified of this cave. So she made it her home, in this dream world. Stole things when Vecna wasn't looking, Stole clothes, food, etcetera. He'd shout at her from the cave entrance but physically refused to go in. Then, one day, when Max was scouting the house for another attempt at stealing, she saw him. He was dressed smartly. Brown tweed suit, waistcoat and trousers with a red tie. And—oh, my god. Fuck. He had someone with him. A girl, wearing a bright rainbow top and dungarees. She recognised the girl instantly. Daisy Harrington. Steve's little sister. She had to make a plan. Daisy needed to get out of here, and so did she. Maybe they could help each other. Daisy was holding Vec—Henry's hand. She looked happy to see him, thry were friends. So, a week later, when Henry had finally left the dresmscape, Max put a note through the letterbox, pretending to be Henry, pretending to need help.
