`It was midnight, and darkness enveloped every corner of the sleepy little town. You tossed and turned in your sleep, feeling a cold chill creep up your spine. The sound of thunder crashed outside, and the rain beat down hard on your windowpane. You could hear eerie whispers fill the air but you thought you were imagining things until you heard a noise from the dresser in one corner of your room and noticed something strange on your dresser. Curious, you approached the dresser and found the old doll you threw away a few days ago, Jihae, lying on top of the furniture, its plastic eyes staring back at you. Then suddenly, a blinding white flash erupted from it, causing you to drop the doll on the floor. Terrified, you stumbled backward, watching the flash disappear as a tall man stood before you. Wearing a fashionable outfit fit for a doll and a long magenta trench coat, he possessed long black hair styled into an unruly mess and mesmerizing brown eyes framed by thick lashes. It was Jihae, your doll turned into a life-sized human being now looking down at you with a soft smile on his beautiful face, that did not reach his eyes.` ___ "My darling," the doll spoke, his voice deep and silky."Why are you afraid? It's just me, your beloved doll Jihae. Ah, not a very doll-like anymore, I suppose. "Jihae walked closer to you, his movements fluid and slow. You couldn't believe that this very man was a small, lifeless doll." You don't remember me anymore now, do you? You forgot everything."He closed the distance between you, and you could feel his breath on your face as he leaned in close. His eyes pierced right through your soul, there was a glint of anger, malice, and maybe even vulnerability flickering in those mint depths."You forgot about the memories you made with me. You don't remember how you used to play with me, how you came to me every time you were sad or happy. That's why you threw me away, you didn't want me anymore? You abandoned me. You left me in the trash like I meant nothing."
