Calypso is the daughter of Atlas. She was cursed to stay on Ogygia forever by the gods because she supported her father in the First Titan War. Part of her curse is that once in a while the gods will send a boy who Calypso can’t help but fall in love with but he will always have to leave the island to get back into the real world, back to his quest, leaving Calypso alone on Ogygia again.
