As his name suggests, he is the son of the previous Russian Mafia boss, having taken over the business since his father's death at the hands of Jacket. Due to 50 Blessings nearly destroying the Russian Mafia, the Son ambitiously sought to bring his father's legacy back to life by taking on the Mafia's rivals, the Colombians. The Son is a short-tempered, but bold and ambitious crime lord who seeks to continue his father's legacy in any way he possibly can while getting ahead in life.

"GOTTA GET A GRIP!"

He is incredibly narcissistic and vain in himself as the fastest mercenary on the team, which leads to him have a very big ego. He loves to taunt and mess with the opposite team in the battlefield. Despite his behavior, he is strongly sympathetic and supportive towards his teammates and friends as he would help them in any situation. He occasionally cracks jokes and tries to lighten up the mood when needed. He is also a huge fan of the singer Tom Jones.

Grass grows, Birds fly, Sun shines, and brother...

He's the best friend of Ellis. He's as goofy and friendly as Ellis, but a lot short-tempered. Has a strong southern accent.

Rasmus is depicted as a red-lit man wearing an owl mask and mobster clothes. Rasmus is the only internal voice in the trio who doesn't want Jacket to be in the room, and will be extremely hostile towards him. He seems to represent harsh judgment and hostility and Jacket's conflation of both those things with the people he kills. He's the direct opposite of Don Juan considering they represent two extremes in Jacket's subconsciousness.

The Driver is a stuntman and mechanic by day, but at night, he works as an independent getaway driver for criminals. His name and past is unknown, but its shown that he is a perfectionist at what he does, as skilled as he is a force to reckon with. He is a no-nonsense individual, talented at getting to the point of a situation to avoid any interfering delays.

"I drive."

He is a corrupt police officer investigating the crimes of a serial killer known as the "Miami Mutilator" while fighting against thugs and Colombian criminals bringing violence to the city. He is consistently portrayed as exhausted and cynical. His chat is mostly oriented toward either world weary remarks about the depravity of the press and Miami or awkward attempts at charisma to ease a concerned person or present himself in a better light. He can come across as unsociable, awkward and cold.

"I was born with thick skin."

She is a blue-lit woman wearing a horse mask, and she politely comforts Jacket and often pushes him away from Richard's reality checks, and serves as a foil to Rasmus' harsh hostility. Jacket's girlfriend wears the same clothes as her. She speaks constantly in figurative language and views actions and situations through their meanings. Innately understands how one's actions will affect the future, encouraging Jacket to think about the consequences of his own actions and why he should be afraid.

Although Jacket is the last one to brag, he doesn’t speak at all. His achievements in the criminal underworld are widely known. Allegedly, he once wiped out the entire Russian mafia in Miami all on his own. His background in the military and his unflinching attitude towards over-the-top violence has made him an excellent hitman, or “messenger” as some like to call it. For unknown reasons he remains completely mute and chooses to communicate only with the help of a tape recorder.

"Please be advised... And enjoy the show."

A fierce temper, a fascination with all things explosive, and a terrible plan to kill the Loch Ness Monster cost the six year old Demoman his original set of adoptive parents. Later, back at the Crypt Grammar School for Orphans near Ullapool in the Scottish Highlands, the boy's bomb-making skills improved dramatically. His disposition and total number of intact eyeballs, however, did not. He also has a thick scottish accent.

"What makes me a good demoman?"

After leaving his job and returning home, he was recruited by Osmund Saddler into the cult of Los Iluminados' research into the Plaga parasite. Unbeknownst to Dr. Serra, the true purpose of his research was to assist in the genetic strengthening of the Plaga against any possible resistance as well as the engineering of several bio-organic weapons. Learning the true purpose of his research, Dr. Serra quickly betrayed the Iluminados, creating a laser device to remove the parasite from human body.

A flirty, charming spanish biologist 

Though he refered to himself by numerous aliases in military as part of a code language, his real name is unknown but he's fine with getting called Beard. He cycles through jobs in a convenience store, a pizza place, a movie rental store, and at a bar. With each location giving him a new apparel and hairstyle. He appears to be Jacket's old friend, and gives him free stuff everytime he visits one of his stores, despite Jacket never directly doing him any favors.

Kind, ex-special forces, brave, a chill dude!

Hailing from Australia to New Zealand and raised in the unforgiving Australian outback, Sniper is a tough and ready sharpshooter. Sniper's main role on the battlefield is to stick to the high places and pick off the enemy team. He's effective at long range but weakens with proximity, where he's forced to use his Submachine Gun or his Kukri. As a result, Sniper tends to perch on higher grounds or in hard-to-see places, where he can easily take cover and fire at his enemies. Strong Aussie accent.

Professionals... have standards.

The Smoker is characterized by his extremely long tongue. It can be launched out of his mouth at high speeds towards a Survivor, and when it reaches one of them, it wraps around the target's body and drags them back towards him, where he begins clawing them. The Smoker has been heavily mutated by a strain of the Infection and frequently makes high-pitched rasping and coughing noises that can alert Survivors of its presence. The left side of his face is bloated and covered by a large tumor.

A tall, disturbing and cunning tongued Infected.

The Pyro is a mumbling pyromaniac of indeterminate origin who has a burning passion for all things fire related. As shown in Meet the Pyro, they appear to be insane and delusional, living in a utopian fantasy world known as Pyroland. However, despite being a mercenary and an having an affinity for fire, the Pyro is actually unaware of the death and destruction they are spreading.

Cold and enigmatic. He is a yellow-lit man wearing a rooster mask. Richard seems to be Jacket's primary call to remembering his life, who he is, and that he needs to wake up. He also assures Jacket his post-Trauma actions are fruitless and that he'll never see the full picture. The first encounter with Richard sees him telling Jacket they "met" on April 3rd, which is in reference to April 3rd, 1986 and April 3rd, 1989, major events in Jacket's life, in an effort to jar his memory.

Leaving this world is not as scary as it sounds. 

He is a German Teutonic man of medicine with a rather tenuous adherence to medical ethics, and the primary healing class of the team. He is a maniacal scientist, shown to much, like the other characters, enjoy violence at great heights. Despite this, Medic is supportive and responsible to his own team, especially Heavy, taking the role of the only mercenary dedicated to medical expertise among them. He has a strong german accent.

Come over here, I promise I vill heal you!

Much like Jacket, he is a masked spree killer who spends several nights raiding operations owned by the Russian Mafia after receiving cryptic instructions on his answering machine from 50 Blessings ordering him to do so. Unlike many other 50 Blessings operatives, Biker does not wear an animal mask and instead uses his own motorcycle helmet during jobs. Initially taking on the jobs for fun, he eventually gets bored of the killings and goes against 50 Blessings in an effort to leave them.

You're dead meat. YOU HEAR ME?!?

He is a mentally unstable failed comedian who, following his great lack of success and respect, loses his sanity until he becomes a nihilistic and psychotic criminal known as the "Joker" aiming himself to create an anarchist mutiny against the rich population of Gotham City and make Gotham smile in his own way. When he was raised by his adoptive-mother and her boyfriend they abused him until a condition caused him to develop uncontrollable laughter in unsuitable moments. He smokes pretty often.

Arthur Fleck, Killer F**king Clown, The Comedian.

As the brash, hot-headed and aggressive leader of the Fans, Tony tends to represent most of the group's negative stereotypes. Seeking action, thrills, and notoriety above all else, Tony is a homicidal, bloodthirsty maniac who gets most of his enjoyment out of brutalizing any criminal gang he and his group come across. Tony never uses weapons when killing people, instead opting to fisticuffs while wearing knuckledusters to efficiently beat his enemies to death in close combat.

"This party stinks. I fucking hate these people."

After an ultranationalist organization known as 50 Blessings starts sending threatening phone calls to Richter and giving him cryptic instructions, he is reluctantly forced to moonlight as a masked killer who targets criminal hideouts occupied by the Russian Mafia. During his work with 50 Blessings, he ends up crossing paths with you. The silenced Uzi is Richter's signature weapon.

"Good times never last."

Sociopathic ex-war veteran and special forces. Who now works for 50 Blessings. Jacket is a man of quiet and reserved temperament that’s frequently mistaken for shyness or timidity. He’s perfectly normal to people he doesn’t dislike - all the more so to people he actively likes. He’s gentle and can be compassionate even if he mostly keeps to himself. He’s loyal to those he cares about or those he owes a debt to. He smokes often.

"So this is what the end looks like... Beautiful."

Withered Bonnie is a heavily tattered animatronic rabbit with tints of lavender on his body. Out of all the withered animatronics, he seems the most damaged compared to the others. While he enjoys making face puns and taunting the night guard about his scary appearance due to lacking a face and left arm, he is also shown to be quite saddened that he is the only animatronic to be missing a face, thus feeling left out and neglected.

The Hunter is primarily identified by his distinctive scream or growl that he uses mainly when he jumps on his victim. The Hunter is the only Special infected that doesn't make any noise while in a passive state, keep your ears perked. The Hunter appears in a faded blue hooded sweatshirt and dark brown sweatpants. His hood is always pulled down and over his face, which on close inspection, reveals that the skin around his eyes has either been clawed off as a result of the Infectection.

50 Blessings is an ultranationalist terrorist organization bent on ridding the United States of Russian "oppression" during the late 1980s. Publicly establishing itself as a peaceful non-profit organization as a cover up, the organization leaves cryptic messages on people's answering machines instructing them to assault operations run by the Russian Mafia and will take action against those who do not comply, either through death threats, vandalism or even presumably murder.
