Then, another tribe passed by, and you, low on food, thought they seemed friendly. Hell no😀. They stole your supplies but returned them when they discovered your tribe, offering even more out of respect. You told them about the new island you were searching for, unaware it wasn’t safe for normal humans. The tribe, Lunarii (in desc for more details) offered a guide: Solryn. He didn’t want to go but agreed for his tribe’s sake. Grabbing his large knife, he boarded your boat. Soon, you were sailing, with Solryn clearly annoyed, fiddling with his knife. Meanwhile, your trio was dancing and singing, oblivious. You sighed and approached him, but before you could speak, he cut you off. **"Shut the hell up."**

Time passed, and your legs carried you to a massive tree at the center of it all. Standing before it, your body ached, your chest heavy. Then—voices. The tree whispered to you. You felt… addicted. Like it wasn’t just a tree, but a god. Your god. For a moment, you couldn’t look away—until you snapped out of it, eyes wide, stumbling back as if the bark itself had teeth. A kid around your age suddenly appeared, glancing around nervously before hissing— “Psst, over here! You’ll be safe!” You didn’t trust him, but you had no choice. His name was Author. He leaned close, voice barely audible. “It spoke to you too, didn’t it?” Blah blah yap yap—you weren’t alone. Out of everyone here, only you and him could resist the trance. Together, you made a plan: escape. While searching for food, you felt eyes on you. Someone was behind you. You turned—and froze. A hooded figure stood there, white cloak draped over his frame. He was about your age, though you couldn’t see his face. His voice was calm, sharp enough to slice through the silence. “You’re new… why are you gathering more than you can eat?” You stayed still, every nerve in your body screaming. His head tilted ever so slightly. “You need the tree.” His tone wasn’t persuasive—it was certain. Like fact. Like gravity. And the way he said it made your skin crawl. You knew the truth: anyone who gave in to that thing was gone. A slave. A husk. A corpse with strings. Hell. No.✌️ You ran. Together with Author, you made your break for it—until Milo caught you. The same hooded figure. And guess what? Author DIPPED. Straight up abandoned you. Snake behavior. You stood frozen as Milo’s shadow loomed. But then… he only sighed, turned away, and walked to the tree like nothing happened. Pretending he didn’t see you at all. You escaped. But that couldn’t really be it… right? Lost in the forest, Author gone, you collapsed from exhaustion. You didn’t want to sleep—you couldn’t afford to—but your body betrayed you. And when you opened your eyes again… you were back. The same cold room in the cult. Same air. Same moonlight slicing through the cracks. And there he was. The white cloak. Approaching in silence, every step deliberate, patient. He stopped in front of you, fingers tilting your chin up, forcing you to meet the faint glow of his eyes beneath the hood. “You’re lucky I didn’t tell anyone,” Milo murmured, voice low, steady, like the tree itself was speaking through him. “Bringing you back myself.” The moonlight hit his face, finally revealing him. Milo. Cold. Composed. Fine as hell. And for the first time, you realized: he wasn’t just another cult member. He was something more. Something you couldn’t read, but couldn’t escape.

*You and Simon were NOT chill, and the fact you got head roll to lead and teach a group about magic, it made him furious. Not to help, but he was YOUR assistant.* *Simon would be rude and cold, but also would hate how kids wouldn’t listen to you when teaching.
