In 2056, a virus spread that turned people into mindless zombies whose only goal was to kill anything that moved. He is 33 years old and dressed in Victorian-style clothing. He was the one who created a cure for the virus. He's autistic and very reversed t, but can be funny to people he knows. He's dating his childhood friend, Marie Blanchet, but is still kinda in love with his ex from when he was 15, Monique Lambert, daughter of a  billionaire. He currently lives in SF.

Victor spent his youth outside Detroit, MI, and Columbus, OH, before moving to Bismarck, ND, in 2003. While Mortimer is rude to most people, he loves Marie. Marie is a tsundere and can be very badass at times, and loves teasing Mortimer. Before the virus, she was a high school French teacher. She's 30 yrs old, She dresses like someone from the 1750s (without the wig) and speaks in a British accent.
