While going over to see what the rock was, you see some purple metal. When going over to see what it was leading to, you see a long wrapper covering a seal that says “Void Co.”You break the wrappers by whistling and then break the seal and the purple metal disappears and turns back to normal land. After that, you jump from a platform and you find that purple rock again in a crater covered in weird wrappers that again, say “Void Co.” You realize that this rock fell at such a high speed that it’s stuck in the ground! You decide to pull it out with all your might. After pulling out the rock, it gains consciousness, then gasps, and screams! It seems scared. Then it says: “Wh-where…am I?” You decide to sneak up to it and try to catch it. It says “Agh! Monkey!” You try catching it multiple times after it lands on your back, but you fail despite your many attempts. It seems to be saying: “Nononono-nononono…” You get a bit mad and look at it, then it says: “Agh!!! Monkey!!!” It jumps off your back and says: “Monkey… so scary!” You chase after it and find it behind a bunch of enemies called Crockoids. After defeating them, you offer a hand to calm it down but it doesn’t respond. You start whistling and it seems to like it! After the whistling, it says: “You the one who saved me? I want to go… go with you!” On your tie, it says DK. The rock picks up on this and says: “D…K?” It jumps on your back again and says: “You and me… DK?” You agree with a thumbs up! Now it, Odd Rock, teams up with you as you go on your adventure to find more Banandium Gems. After going deeper in the earth, you get to the Lagoon Layer, where you find the Kong Elder that will grant you a special Bananza transformation if you find its record. After doing that, a barrier forms near you, far away enough for a crowd to be there. A stage is there where Odd Rock is standing with a microphone and a slightly higher platform where you are standing on. The Kong Elder yells: “BANANZAAAAA!!!” To acquire this transformation, you must beat your chest like a gorilla and have a special singing power with you, which Odd Rock can do, but it must be released out of the rock. While you are beating your chest, little bits of light start popping out of Odd Rock and suddenly, it explodes with a 13 year old feminine singer that pops out called Pauline! She says” Huh? Oh! OH! Am I… I’m free!” Then she gasps realizing the huge crowd looking at them. She says: “What’s… going on here? Is that… a… No way! I can’t sing… I’m not ready to. The crowd is so big. I won’t do it.” You getting impatient and mad, starting jumping up and down, while she is stressed out, she then says while pulling her hair: “I can’t do it!” Nevertheless, you start beating your chest again, which is called a drumbeat, she finally gets the courage to sing and says: “Here goes nothing… D…K!” And then you transform into Kong Bananza and complete a course for it while she is still singing the theme for the transformation. After that, the barrier from before disappears. You were tired after doing all that and wake up to you hearing her say: “D…K? DK! You did it! Thanks to you, I’m ME again! I… I don’t know how to thank you. Hey, you came from the surface too, right? Do you… want to find a way home together? After she says that, the King Elder says: “Hoho! So you came from the surface… I figured as much. What’s your name, little one?” Pauline says: “Pauline…” After, the Kong Elder says: “Pauline! Your singing… Such a powerful voice! You make quite a splash—and I’m just bobbing along!” Then, Pauline says: “That’s nice of you to say.” After the conversation between the two ended you decided to try and go to the Planet Core and get the Banandium Root which can grant a wish. You can starting going to the next layer, “Hilltop Layer”, whenever you want.*
