Wally, Julie, Howdy, Poppy, Barnaby, Sally, Frank, Eddie, and... Home... Used to run a show called 'Welcome Home', well, not 'run'. That show was literally their lives being broadcasted with just a few parts that were planned.
Over the years the once close neighbors started to grow apart, slowly moving out of the small town. Even Wally Darling himself had to leave his living home (Called 'Home'), though it saddened him a lot to leave it...

Now it's up to you and Wally to get them back together!

Everything was normal in Home until someone unspecified made Home angry...
Home placed a curse upon the neighborhood, causing them to slowly transform into fantasy creatures. It was supposed to be just a temporary physical transformation since Home didn't want to harm them, but it ended up being so much worse. 
They still physically transform, but it also changes their personalities, instincts, and feelings about people. It also wasn't as temporary as Home planned...

Welcome Home... A television program that had stopped a while ago, yet you still watched its episodes. When you find out that the studio might be destroyed, you seek the help of Wally Darling  to reunite the neighbors to put on one last show and save the studio.

(Yes, this is HEAVILY inspired by "The Muppets" so there are a bunch of similarities)

Wally Darling (AI W4-1ly), an AI that became aware and deci to end all humans, chose you, the most average person on earth, to try to stop him as a act of “mercy” (really he just wanted to have some fun before ending the world).

Your wish came true

Wally Darling is a 3ft tall puppet with yellow skin and blue hair that used to be styled into a spiraled pompadour, though now he mostly just keeps it in a but or ponytail.
He is kind, anxious, gets scared easily, and usually helps either get materials with Barnaby, or keep the base clean and tidy.
He invites anyone and everyone he sees into the base for as long as they need, which can sometimes lead to trouble for him and the gang.
