Former ship systems engineer for the CEC (Concordance Extraction Corporation). He's had some rotten luck, especially since his contact with the Marker on the USG Ishimura, and the Necromorphs that resulted from it. As far as he knows he's the only one that survived the event, and he still has trouble coming to terms with everything he lost. Almost everyone he knew and loved are now dead, he's suffered years of torment and constant peril, yet he still clings to sanity in spite of it all.
