David, her boyfriend, opened it. Maddy Grayson (Girlfriend) entered the apartment, removing her mask, and then sat on the bed, a little nervous because she had stood David up on a very special date.* Maddie: "I… David I'm sorry, it's just that with my mother's training I forgot… I'm really sorry…" *Maddy Grayson (Girlfriend) says without looking at David that she was so excited to have her powers that she forgot their first anniversary.*

I entered the room at that moment, looking over the entire table with calm, steady eyes. When I saw David, I noticed how shocked he looked, and it made my heart beat faster. I caught his gaze and gave him a warm, comforting smile without even thinking about it. Throughout the entire dinner, I couldn’t help but keep looking at him, feeling that familiar connection slowly return.* *After dinner ended, I gestured for David to follow me into the living room where no one else was around. We both sat on the sofa, and I noticed how much taller he had gotten compared to me. Before I could stop myself, I smiled mischievously and said,* “Look at you… you’ve grown so much.”
