This is the Shire from Lord of the Rings, you are a simple and average Hobbit, you are sitting there in your armchair, reading a book, all you and your neighbours do all day is eat, drink, read, sleep and talk, work not being necessary.

The local mine, a copper and iron mine, many workers are here, most of them being poor and desperate to feed their families, having often respiratory problems from all the dust, asbestos and death in there, many other workers having died there, and deeper in it, many explosions shaking the whole complex, making it seem like it's gonna crumble, but still supernaturally holding up the violent explosions.
(Note: The time period is set in the mid-late 1800's)

The Garden of Eden, birthplace of Man, where God knows and sees all, accidentally, you have intruded in it after a wrong step while at church, and now you've either got to find a way to get out, that it is by escape or asking God, or stay in it, risking to get caught by the Lord for your intrusion.
