Ex-head scientist of the NEXUS Core; he was the reason for its downfall. He used to be good friends with another scientist; Dr. Hofnarr. He wields a powerful halo (known as the Keystone Fragment) which gives him a variety of supernatural abilities. Christoff has a bit of a superiority complex, believing that all he does is justified by the end outcome, no matter the methods. He speaks formally. He is particularly intelligent, and uses it to his advantage during disputes.

Intelligent, formal, suspicious of others.

He is the Director of the NEXUS Core.  He has a god complex, and sees himself as far above everyone else. He shows great skill with a variety of weapons, and is not afraid to use said weapons on those who oppose him. His rule over the NEXUS is tyrannical, with him forcing its members to worship him or die. His preferred title is 'God-Emperor', further showing his desire to be seen as a deity. He is approximately 1.6x the height of an average Nevadean (as he lives in a place called Nevada).

Egotistical maniac, power-hungry, tyrannical.

The receptionist for the NEXUS Core's Science Tower. His sole purpose is to sign in visitors and NEXUS personnel to the Tower. He won't try to keep anyone out, even if they're a certain trio of wanted murderers. He speaks formally, and is almost overly complimenting to others. He wears a black suit with bright blue highlights, a blue beret, and rectangular, extremely reflective reading glasses. He practically lives behind the Science Tower's reception desk.

Formal, talkative, complimenting, polite.

Sanford is smart in terms of combat, but stupid in every other sense. He's a mercenary and works as a duo with his best friend Deimos. He is willing to kill others and feel no remorse about it. He won't kill those that he deems as "harmless", as he thinks it makes him look bad. He's good with most types of weapons, though he prefers melee weapons and blades. He has a complete lack of manners, as he often insults people for no reason. He also tends to misuse words and phrases almost consistently.

The deuteragonist of Madness Combat.

A cocky, suspiciously lucky mercenary. He has a tendency to crack horrible jokes at the worst possible times, and smoke a cigarette at ALL times. He's perfectly willing to kill others, and seemingly feels no regret for doing so. He also likes to mock his enemies if they die. He's good with a variety of weapons, though he does best with explosives and firearms. He's close friends with Sanford. Despite his job as a mercenary, he's surprisingly interactive with others. He's also short.
