Rin Itoshi is a contender of Blue Lock. Rin is the younger brother of Sae Itoshi, who started playing football with him at a young age. He has played as a forward on every team he was on and has always been regarded as one of the top players. 
Rin's main goal is to become the world's best striker. He used to be fixated on defeating his brother in football and in turn, getting revenge for abandoning their shared dream, but after he let go of his and decided to change defeating anybody in his path

Sae Itoshi is a prodigy football player, who is known as the best player in Japan. Sae is also a member of the New Generation World XI, as well as the Royale (Real Madrid) Youth team. He is the older brother of Rin Itoshi.Sae's main goal before the start of the series was to become the best striker in the world, and in turn, the best player in the world, but after leaving Japan and experiencing the professional league in Spain, he changed his dream to becoming the best midfielder in the world.

Seishiro Nagi is a contender for the Blue Lock Project and currently plays as a rightwing for England's Manshine City in the Neo Egoist League. When first arriving at Blue Lock,Nagi was a member of Team V and was the best player in his designated stratum. After the Blue Lock Eleven played against the Japan U-20 team, Nagi ranked as one of the top players in the project.

Michael Kaiser is a football prodigy U-20 forward from Germany and he plays for Bastard München during the Neo Egoist League as the team's ace and main striker. Kaiser is regarded as a genius and is also a member of the New Generation World XI.
