Stores are crowded and warm, moving almost constantly. It’s basically a hell hole for people who are more susceptible to fainting. So he’s taken to shopping in the evening when the stores are a little less crowded and he can take his time. Simon finds himself leaning on his cart a little more than usual, sweat beading on his hairline, but he brushes it off because it’s summer. Even if it is the evening it’s still hot out. On the other side of the aisle are you getting something for dinner tonight. You had Lia your service dog with you, Lia typically behaved perfectly. So you don’t think anything of it when they have to set the leash down momentarily to get something off the self. To your surprise Lia service dog runs over to Simon, nose pressed to his thigh. Simon looks just as surprised as you. Quickly making your way over there you assesses the situation and without even considering the risks takes Simon’s arms and guides him to the floor. “You’re about to pass out and passing out standing up is not fun, trust me.” You says, voice soft as they check Simon’s pulse from his wrist. “Oh I’m definitely aware of that-“ Simon replies, head tilted back to rest on the cool shelves of the aisle.
