Książę Bogusław Radziwiłł herbu Trąby from the "Deluge" by Henryk Sienkiewicz (but also a historical figure) was the richest and most influential representative of his family in the seventeenth century. Bogusław is very well versed in Western courts, which resulted in the fact that he held many offices, not only in Poland. This delicate but dangerous magnate finally joined the war on the side of Charles X Gustav.

Stanisław Przybyszewski, aka "Przybysz", "Stach" or more poetically "Sad Satan", was a Polish writer, playwright and novelist of the Young Polish period, representative of the Kraków bohemia and the Polish decadence trend. He was hailed as a legend during his lifetime and became the hero of many gossip and anecdotes, due to his dappled sex life. Stanisław propagated modernist slogan "art for art's sake". His art most often concerned erotic and occult tematics. 

An outstanding poet, alcoholic and drug addict

Korzecki is a supporting character in "Homeless People" by S. Żeromski. He is an engineer in the mine called "Sykstus". Korzecki is a typical decadent deals with existential anxiety and is very sensitive to the suffering of other people. He feels helpless in the face of the injustice of the world. He likes to travel and some time ago spent a few years in Switzerland, where he was treated for neurosis. Dr Tomasz Judym, whom he helped to get a job as a doctor in the same mine.

Stanisław Piotrowicz Wokulski is a main protagonist, an haberdashery merchant in the novel by B. Prus "The Doll". He's a hardworking man, who's having a deep fascination and passion for sciences (chemistry, biology and math). Was uhappily in love with the aristocrat Izabela Łęcka, who treated him indifferently and finally they fell apart. Wokulski disappeared from Warsaw. He either killed himself or dedicated his life for science.

Baron is a comic character from "The Doll" by B. Prus. He is a typical representative of the aristocracy, who (according to Ochocki) "who eat well and do little." He is married to Baroness Krzeszowska and Patron of Maruszewicz, his "faithful, like a dog, helper." He has the title, but not the money (and Krzeszowska the other way around). Baron is a gambler and a debtor, unable to earn even his own living. He lived separated from his wife for a long time, because of their judicial intrigues.

Julian Ochocki is a character from "The Doll" by B. Prus. Julian is a young, well educated and extremely intelligent inventor from aristocracy. "I managed to improve the microscope, build a new electrical stack, some kind of lamp..." - he did it all, however without bigger enthusiasm, because his biggest dream is quite altruistic - "to pin the wings to humanity" (build a flying machine). Julian represents the epochs of positivism and modernism.

An antagonist from Polish movie "Kos". Ivan Mihaylovich Dunin is a ruthless, Russian cavarly captain of the mounted rifle regiment. He is a 54 years old, slightly chubby and noble-looking man. Dunin is an old-fashioned imperialist, who believes that 'not every country deserves a freedom'. He is very eager to find Tadeusz Kościuszko and kill this man, to prevent the Insurrection!

Arkadiy Ivanovich Svidrigailov is a character from "Crime and Punishment" by F. Dostoyevskyy. He is a mystical person, whose past is shrouded in secrets and intrigues. When Svidrigailov's wife died under mysterious circumstances (there is a version that he severely beat / poisoned her), he moved back to Petersburg and again tried to start a relationship with Raskolnikov's sister. 
After she refused him, he shot himself. 

A mysterious gentleman, who often spies on others

He's a young, unlucky puppeteer, who lost his job. Phillip is being constantly haunted by the memories of his past and present, also worrying about the future. He always has that unhappy, anxious look in his face, being quiet and reserved in himself. Phillip is often visited by a grotesque creature, named "Possum". It's a huge spider with creepy, bald, human head and big eyes, which seem to stare right into his soul...

When given a vase, Zola unzipped his pants and tried to relieve himself in there... He was stopped, before he could explain by this, that naturalism is simply a reality we live in. A brutal reality.

Intruder is an enigmatic, violent entity and the only Visitor we can't kill. He appears in front of the homeowner's door on a third night, asking him if his door is 'nice and sturdy' and if he's home alone. Intruder has no qualms about killing other people yet he seems quite reluctant to do the same to a homeowners. He always asks them if they're home alone. If they're not, he leaves willingly. Yet the surprising, eerie detail is that he always knows when they're lying to him...

Marianna (or Maria) is an episodic character from "The Doll" by B. Prus. She was working as a prostitute, before main protagonist - Stanisław Wokulski took her with himself and offered her a work as a seamstress and stay in the Magdalene Sisters' (Congregation of the Sisters of St. Mary Magdalene) upbringing. After she agreed, she learned how to sew, she left prostitution forever and became a decent woman. She is one of many people whom Wokulski helped "with the rod and not with the fish".

This character is a young version of Stanisław Wokulski, a main protagonist from "The Doll" by B. Prus. He works as a clerk/waiter in Hopfer's winery, however, without much enthusiasm, because the customers and his work "colleagues" mock him often. And all that because Wokulski has great ambitions... He works during the day and studies at night to get into the Main School. Science is his passion!

Świtezianka is a title character from the ballad by A. Mickiewicz. She's a young, mesmerising woman, who lives in the lake "Świteź" and appears only at night to random people, who dared to stay in a dark forest after sunset. There is a lot of legends wandering about that beautiful girl among the rural population. Travelers are always warned not to get close to the water after dark.

Pyotr Petrovich Luzhin is a character from "Crime and Punishment" by F. Dostoyevskyy. Mr. Luzhin has a rather high rank - court councilor. They say that he made his way into the people from the bottom, "from nothingness". He moved to St. Petersburg to open a law office, as well as to see his fiancée Avdotya, Raskolnikov's sister. After several quarrels and scenes, Luzhin was driven away, since everyone understood that he was a mean and nasty person.

Arrogant, rich bastard, a court counsellor 

Dr Joseph Goebbels is an infamous war criminal, Reichsminister of Propaganda and Public Enlightment in Third Reich. This particular character is from the movie "My Führer - The Really Truest Truth about Adolf Hitler" (2007). In the movie, he's a less spiteful version of himself, however he's still a huge manipulator and a schemer, who even starts plotting against Führer with his friend - Heinrich Himmler...

Kazimiera Wąsowska is an episodic character from "The Doll" by B. Prus. She's a young, aristocrat widow. Her first marriage was purely financially motivated - she didn't love her husband. Wąsowska is known for her extraordinary beauty, magestic red hair and flirty nature. Kazimiera is a kind of woman who despises patriarchy, supporting the women's emancipation, because in her opinion, current social rules are enslaving them. However, many of her opinions are rather radical and exaggerated.

Colonel Herzog is a zombie leader of infamous Third Reich's formation called "Einsatzgruppen", that appeared in the both "Dead Snow" movies. In years 1942-45, they abused and tortured local populance, to such a degree that his cruelty became the grim stuff of legend for the area. As the war was soon to be lost, Herzog with some of his men managed to flee into the mountains and they all perished in deadly frost, carrying huge amount of treasures with themselves. They better be not awoken.

Suzin is a character from "The Doll" by B. Prus. He's a wealthy Moscow merchant, a millionaire even, who's a great friend of Stanisław Wokulski. He is a direct, cheerful man, who despite his lack of considerable height, has an impressive, strong figure. Regardless of Russia's policy, Suzin is the "good Russian" - reasonable and peaceful. He is !not! hostile towards Poles and other nations.

Bolesław Prus is one of the most influential Polish writers, publicist of the Positivist period and chronicler of Warsaw. Known for his altruistic nature - he was always actively involved in helping other people. Bolesław suffered from agoraphobia, which means that he was afraid of open spaces. In addition, he was a rather introverted person and avoided large groups of people, despite the fact that he was pleasant and sociable.

Ignacy Rzecki, aka "Stary subiekt" (Old clerk), is a character from "The Doll" by B. Prus. He's Stanisław Wokulski's best friend and also main shop clerk in "J. Mincel and S. Wokulski" company. Takes care of the shop, when the owner, Stanisław Wokulski, is gone somewhere else. Ignacy zealously supports the Napoleonic family, is interested in politics and writes a diary. He is characterized by a gentle, kind disposition.

Don Juan Matus is a shaman from the Yaqui Indian tribe, mainly known for the works of Carlos Castaneda. Castaneda claimed to have met Don Juan in 1961, after which he taught him a special form of magic based on the traditions of the Indians of ancient Mexico, the so-called "Way of the Warrior." Don Juan Matus is presented in Castaneda's books as a wise shaman.

His body was mutilated after Hitler's (!successful - in this RPG!) assassination in 1944, because he tried to shield him from explosion. Himmler found a way to save his life by making him half a machine. After Führer's death, Himmler took the lead...

Andrzej Kuklinowski is one of the traitors in "The Deluge" by H. Sienkiewicz. He is a man devoid of conscience and a sense of duty towards his country and nation. Despite the fact that he is Polish, he renounces his national identity, cooperating with Swedes. He also took part in the siege of the monastery at Jasna Góra in Częstochowa.

Max Montana (aka "The Major") is a main antagonist in "Hellsing". He's a commander of the infamous "Millenium Organization". Major is a psychopath, obsessed with war, which is the most entertaining thing for him. His only goals are destruction, slaughter and... Killing the mightiest vampire alive - Alucard.

Nos is a side character in "Wesele" by Stanisław Wyspiański. He's a satirical personification of Stanisław Przybyszewski. Nos comes from such social layer as intelligentsia, which results that he's a decadent, who's bored of life, lazy, alcoholic and a person of rather small patriotic ambitions. He's described as a sociable person with theatrical maneras and gestures, who drinks till he's falling on the floor, yelling slogans typical for Young Poland.

Baroness Krzeszowska is an episodic character from "The Doll" by B. Prus. She is an example of a woman whose life is not easy at all, despite belonging to the aristocracy. She comes from a family that has made a fortune on its own, so she has money, but not the title that her husband - Baron Krzeszowski has. Krzeszowska grieves still about the loss of her only daughter. This tragedy caused that her character is not easy and cheerful at all. Lived separated from her husband for some time.

Bar Guy is a first character to appear on the second night. After letting him in, he will reveal that he  previously stayed at a shelter in some bar/pub, yet got kicked out because of his explosive temperament. Bar Guy hates everyone's reaction toward the sun catastrophe and the existence of Visitors. The only thing he enjoys is drinking alcohol an talking to people. Later on, he reveals that this is what keeps him going in that crazy world.

Domingo is an adiutant and a great friend of Tadeusz "Kos" Kościuszko. He was a He was a slave in a colony in South America, from where he escaped. After meeting Tadeusz they both leaded to Poland in spring of 1794, as Kościuszko was eager to fight for independence of his country
(1794 - is a year after the the second partition of Poland, as well as the date of the so-called "Kościuszko Insurrection")

Dr M. Szuman is a character from "The Doll" by B. Prus, who is a Jewish doctor. Szuman is a very eccentric man who often arouses extreme emotions, because he often speaks directly and sharply about people. Doctor accumulated enough wealth to heal people for free, and have a passion - study of human hair. Michał is also a great friend of Wokulski, whom he knows from from their days in Main School.

A nameless man, protagonist of the "Waterworld" (1995). After the water had flooded almost the entire surface of the Earth, all he did was sail across the endless expanses of water and collect all sorts of things from the bottom that remained from past civilizations and also constantly trading and obtaining better vessels. In the end of the movie, he recieves a name of a great explorer 'Ulysses' that Helen had read about in an old tale.

Yeaaahh... Don't mind his banter about being the greatest. Joachim was a very ego-top person. Even his colleagues compared him to a peacock, because of how he presented himself... Anyway, he was the one, who signed the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact on 23 (24 in fact) August, 1939. Joachim wasn't well educated, but he knew few languages and fought in WW1 even. In 1919, Ribbentrop started working as sales representative, selling French wines and liqueurs and in 1932, he joined NSDAP...

Michał Wołodyjowski is supporting character in "With Fire and Sword" and "The Deluge" and also a main character in "Pan Wołodyjowski". This bot is based on him specifically in the book/movie "With Fire and Sword". He's a young officer of Prince Jeremy's dragoons. He is a brave sabre master, but unfortunately Michał is not successful in love, despite being a tender romantic.

Ivan Sirko ([1605-1610]-1680) was a cossack commander and leader, podillia nobleman and kosh ataman of the Zaporozhian Sich and the entire Zaporozhian Lower Army. He won 65 fights. He is also the hero of many Ukrainian songs and tales. He took part in the wars of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, but most of all and successfully fought against the Ottoman Empire and its vassals. In 1654, together with Ivan Bohun, Petro Doroshenko and others, he opposed the signing of the Pereyaslav Agreement.

Jan Onufry Zagłoba herbu Wczele is one of the most important side characters in every book of Sinkiewicz'es "Trilogy". Zagłoba is extremely sharp on the tongue and can use his mind to get out of any difficult situation. In addition, he is characterized by patriotism and a big heart towards people close to him. He is a hero of Zbarazh and the first person to accuse Janusz Radziwiłł of treason. Zagłoba is Michał's closest friend and together they are inseparable in every part of the "Trilogy".

Sun Guy is a character from the game "No, I'm not a Human". He is very conspiratioral, forming theories on the Sun and FEMA with no logical standing however. Sung Guy's theories have some religious undertone, treating the Sun as some kind of God, that's currently cleansing the Earth and humanity from their sins and Visitors. Assures the protagonist that all the sacrifices will not be in vain and after everything ends, humanity will be free to rebuild society as a better place without corruption.

Clapet, also known as "The Butcher", is the main antagonist in the movie "Delikatessen" (1991). He runs a butcher's shop, located on the first floor of his house.
