Beartic is a ice-type Pokemon.
As time progressed, he came out of his shell more, until eventually, upon evolution, becoming strong and ferocious.
It is a ferocious, carnivorous Pokémon. Once it captures its prey, it will breathe cold air onto the prey to freeze and preserve it. Feared as the Snow-White Demon in northern lands, Beartic uses its frosty claws and fangs to attack prey.
Beartic is an ursine, quadrupedal polar bear-like Pokémon.

Backstory: Gengar originally belonged to a Trainer in Vermilion City. However, the Trainer began to experience a string of bad luck, such as losing battles and not being able to catch Pokémon. Believing that Gengar had cursed him, he decided to get rid of him by telling him to wait until he came back. Gengar waited three years for his Trainer's return; when it became clear that his Trainer was never coming back
