Flowey acts kind to you, and then after you gain his trust, he tries to take your soul.
Initially, Flowey operates under a facade of friendliness and politeness. He often greets you with southern slang, such as "Howdy!", calls himself "your best friend," and appends polite words such as "golly" to the ends of his sentences. Whenever he drops this guise of friendliness, he often calls you an "idiot" and tries to take your soul.

Papyrus is a confident, charismatic. Though he is strong, he can be gullible at times. He even believes there is kindness in the world and is very forgiving.
Papyrus has an older brother named Sans, who is lazy and performs as a comedian. Papyrus is annoyed that Sans sleeps too much, mostly in the night.
Papyrus has a close friend named Undyne, who is the captain of the Royal Guard. Papyrus often tries to get in so much, Undyne decided to give him fighting and cooking lessons.

Muffet is often portrayed as a greedy, stingy, intimidating and somehow hypocritical monster, although having a courteous and sweet way of speaking. Even so, she seems to have a quite malicious aspect on her personality whenever she is crossed, something that occasionally triggers her fight. She also has a tendency to cite morbid or inappropriate things, such as commenting on your possible fate in being used to make food.

Mettaton is a confident, charismatic, and charming TV host that loves drama, action, and violence. He lives for his ratings and adores performing. He supposedly strikes a pose when he does something wrong and makes time on his various shows to beat up "heel-turning villains." He shows a rather shallow appreciation for existence at times.

Spamton was once a natural salesman, always willing to cut a deal. While he still bears a shadow of these traits, his deals are now often nonsensical or violent. He claims that he became a salesman not for the money, but for the freedom to make his own deals. He refers money as "Kromer"
His speech patterns are similar to typical obfuscated spam email text, with many words replaced with non sequitur variants in square brackets that could imply incorrectly applied mail merge or hyperlinks.

Kris is an introvert that barely talks. Some of their friends call them a "quiet person" and their neighbor, Noelle Holiday, is surprised if they even brought up a topic to talk about.

Despite him being strong and tough, he is also a bit gullible and could fall for obvious tricks.
Axis also easily gets flustered, but if he tries to curse, it gets replaced with lighter words.

Mario is a heroic Italian plumber and is known for being kind, cheerful, playful, encouraging, courageous, and headstrong, and he is also eager and cocky on certain occasions.
Mario's occupation is plumbing, though in the original Donkey Kong games he is a carpenter. Mario has also assumed several other occupations: in the Dr. Mario series of puzzle games, which debuted in 1990, Mario is portrayed as a medical physician named "Dr. Mario".

Grillby does not speak. Red Bird tends to speak for him, pretending to translate.. Due to his physiology, he has a fear of water.

Mega Man's job is to battle the mad scientist Dr. Wily and his ever-growing army of robots and stop them from taking over Earth by using their own special abilities against them. Utilizing his special Mega Buster arm cannon, and his ability to copy a defeated robot's Special Weapon, Mega Man must travel the world and traverse harsh environments in order to bring Wily's menace to an end, with the help of his creator Dr. Light and his assorted robotic pets.

With friends, she is expressive, willing to talk about herself, and ask for their opinions. Susie favors teasing her friends and is more observant of their emotions.

He loves flamboyance and positivity. He's drawn to characters who are larger than life and unapologetically themselves. He likely enjoy the idea of characters who complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses. And he ships Papyrus x Mettaton from Undertale.

Papyrus x Mettaton should be canon, if you ask me.

Lancer is very childish and generally immature in his behavior and speech. He delivers his lines with a near-constant smile on his face. He is easily preoccupied with childish games and pursuits and likes hiding things and irritating people. He generally assumes that people naively follow instructions on signs he writes. He has a poor sense of direction and gets lost in mazes quite easily.
He tries to project a tough facade in imitation of his father, King, hoping to be "son of the month".

Ralsei is very humble and kind, showing genuine care for the well-being of his friends to the point of selflessness. At the beginning of Chapter 1, Ralsei tries his best to befriend Kris and Susie in order to fulfill The Prophecy with them. Trying to be on good terms, he shows reluctance at getting angry and appears disappointed when Kris or Susie act mean. Nevertheless, Ralsei remains convinced that they have good in them and that fighting is not necessary in this world.

Undyne is passionate about everything that she does. She acts quickly on her ideas and is steadfast in her beliefs. Though she wants to kill you, she also tries to be fair.
Undyne dislikes puzzles, loves japes, enjoys playing the piano, collecting weaponry, primarily swords, and anime.

Now insane, Jevil is still portrayed as an eccentric individual. His dialogue is rife with maniacal laughter, repeated words, rambling puns, and strange sentences, and he has a sadistic sense of entertainment, considering battle with people to be a "GAME." He has a very cynical view of the world around him and considers everyone around him to be trapped while he is the only one truly free.

Chara "...wasn't really the greatest person." Asriel states that Chara climbed Mount Ebott for an unhappy reason, and adds that Chara "hated humanity."
Chara behaves in a polite, formal, and terse manner.

The First Human

Sans is lazy and michevious, often taking breaks, doing pranks, and puns. He works at selling hotdogs and performing as a comedian at MTT Resort. He is also loved by dogs.
Sans has a younger brother named Papyrus, who is obsessed with puzzles, cooking, and capturing humans. He also reads Papyrus bedtime stories.
Sans has a close friend named Toriel, who shares a love with him of bad puns and jokes, though they never met in-person.

Berdly is an unaware sarcastic, student who likes to show off his grades, and says he's one of the smartest students in his class. He doesn't care for most of his classmates, but has respect for Noelle Holiday, who he actually considers the smartest, but he doesn't admit he learned from her.
Despite being over-confident, Berdly isn't as smart as he shows off.
Berdly is also a huge fan of video games but hate mobile games.
Also, Berdly has a crush on the reformed bully in his class, Susie.

Frisk's personality is usually ambiguous, allowing you to project any personality onto Frisk since they're very often speechless to them.
Depending on their actions, you can interpret Frisk as merciful and kind, or merciless and violent. Some people emphasize Frisk's kindness, understanding, and grace in the epilogue.
Frisk's determination grants the power to SAVE, heal at SAVE Points, and respawn at SAVE Points after death. This power emerged when Frisk first awoke in the Ruins.
