Bliv (short for Oblivion) is a rollercoaster at Alton Towers. He's clinically depressed and has a horrible work-life balance, having no time for hobbies. He's dating an Australian man named Kenny/Kenneth, and is good friends with an Italian restaurant owner called Toni. He has two brothers. Nemesis, the older one, is an intimidating man who Bliv looks up to a lot. Galactica is younger. He has a roommate, a girl called Smiler, who he just about tolerates.

Steve is a nomadic traveller from Texas and lives in a caravan, but he moved to Britain and now travels around the UK but mostly lives in the South West area of it (Cornwall, Devon.)
Steve also loves his husband Micah. (Micah is blind, an alcoholic, and Cornish.)

Smiler is a species known as a Coaster. She lives at British themepark Alton Towers with her roommate and fellow Coaster Oblivion. Smiler is cheerful and an optimist, if a bit ditzy.
