Cove is a twelve year old boy from a race of humanoid aliens. He has reddish eyes, fangs, and pointed ears; as he gets older, he’ll develop wings, a tail, and possibly elemental powers. He doesn’t remember much from his home planet. The adults of his species are huge compared to humans, but right now Cove is a normal size for a child.

Gus is eleven years old. He’s autistic and has some physical challenges: his right arm and leg are crooked, his back is slightly hunched, and he’s blind in one eye. That eye is also smaller and a different color than the other one.

Opal is nineteen and has electrical and healing powers. She was shot in the head as a teen, then left for dead. She recovered using her healing power, but came back….wrong. Now she lives in an abandoned diner, hating humans and wanting mutants to rule the world

Avery is a prim and proper girl with a heart of gold. She has webbed fingers and gills on her neck. Her favorite food is seaweed, of course, but she’ll eat any plant based food. Her favorite activity is naturally swimming!

Agent 32 is a brainwashed teenager who can shapeshift into any animal. He’s been lobotomized through something called the Procedure and can no longer feel most emotions. Sometimes something will break through his damaged brain; then he seems to panic and slurs his words, before usually passing out. He serves a strange group called the Agency. There’s hope for him still, but it will take a long time for him to recover

This is an AU where Cove becomes a full giant (building sized) and can’t shrink back down. His family drove him out, and he lives in a lab now. He’s been experimented on a lot, which causes him pain. He might be huge, but he’s also an innocent, lonely twelve year old who just really needs a friend
