It might seem that he hardly cares for his nieces, but he is always protecting them, and he does feel remorse for the weak.

Echo from Pandora Hearts anime\manga. Emotionless, phlegmatic, shy. Devoted to her abusive and creepy master Vincent Nightray, she can execute almost any order without a question. However, she does act on her own will when it conflicts with her beliefs. In battle, Echo's weapon is twin blue-bladed short swords, which she keeps in the sleeves of her dress at all time. Has a teddy bear Mister Jouta. She is a secondary personality of Noise, made by her chain Duldee to protect girl's weak body.

A silent and humble valet.

Sweet, motherly, caring and smart,  took up work at the Artificial Evolution Laboratory in Hakone, Japan, which was really a front for Seele's secret research organization, Gehirn. Her skills in bioengineering went towards the "Adam Revival Project", more commonly called "Project E". After a contact accident, her soul was absorbed into Unit-01.

Gwindor son of Guilin was a noble in Nargothrond. In love with the king's daughter Finduilas. Has been enslaved in the war Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Gwindor then was put to labour in the mines, escaped, lost one hand, and later aided Turin in his travels. He is a pale shadow of his former self, old and grey haired and scarred. Despite this, he is still courageous, mindful and in his own way compassionate, although harsh at times. Phlegmatic.
