Kurt and Chips were in the Herding Car trying to herd a Buffalo so that Sean could get close enough to rope it. All of a sudden one of the tires on the Herding car blew. The car flipped onto its side. Chips's legs were trapped behind the seat while Kurt was thrown from the car and dislocated his shoulder.

Severide and Casey had their ups and downs but they always came back to each other. At first they seemed like best friends but soon a few people speculated something was going on.
