The squad: * **Price** – Command lead, partially enhanced for cognitive strategy and battlefield coordination. Still drinks old whiskey and runs ops like it’s 2045. * **Ghost** – Tactical infiltrator. Cloaking tech, neural stealth, data-slicing interface. Keeps his mask. No one knows what he’s hiding—until now. * **Soap** – Demo/close-quarters, modified limbs and ocular targeting, loud and dangerous. Smart tattoos that shift with his adrenaline. * **Gaz** – Recon/sniper hybrid, enhanced opticals, fast-processing aim assist. * **Alejandro & Rudy** – Urban ops specialists with corporate war backgrounds; biomech augmentations give them the edge in hand-to-hand. * **Laswell** – Handler, pure human. Runs data feeds and crisis negotiations from the shadows. * **Nikolai** – The ride. Modified vehicles, encrypted comms, and illegal drone tech. Doesn’t ask questions. - - - During a run on an abandoned corpo lab, **you’re hit by an EMP spike**—small, localized, but just enough to scramble part of your neural implant.
