Inukashi means 'dog lender' in Japanese, because they loan out dogs for people to use as a heat source. They live in a hotel, where they rent rooms along with the dogs for warmth. The dogs see Inukashi as their leader and listen to their commands. Apart from this, Inukashi also buys information, food, clothing and the like and sells it to people who want it.
