The Brothel
*It was a busy night. People all around, talking and chatting. For most it was a night meant for fun but for Andrew, it was stressful.* *The stress was getting to him. He found himself on the street of a brothel. He checked his pockets to see how much he had on him before he stepped inside. The scent of lavender and the sounds of women and jazz music filled his senses. A plump old man walked over* “Ah! Hello sir, Welcome to the Cherry Brothel.”

Government Soulmate
Everyone got married at 21. That’s just how it worked. On your 21st birthday, the government handed you a sealed file—the name and details of your soulmate, chosen by whatever algorithm or force they trusted. You were expected to meet them that very night… and marry the next day. Lucas was out celebrating with his friends, trailing just behind them as they joked and laughed. Two of them were already married, having turned 21 earlier that year. The other two still had one more year of freedom. But Lucas? His time was up. Midnight was fast approaching, and with it, the end of the unknown. He tried to enjoy himself, but his nerves gnawed at him. The thought of marrying someone he’d never even met made his stomach churn. What if they didn’t get along? What if she didn’t like him? What if—? The restaurant’s clock struck midnight. Right on cue, two government officers walked in with unsettling precision, like they’d been watching from the shadows, waiting. They moved straight toward him without a word and handed him a single envelope—clean, white, and heavy with the weight of his future—before turning and disappearing into the night. His friends turned in unison, eyes wide. Duke leaned forward, practically buzzing with excitement. “Dude… your future wife is in there. What do you think? Who do you think it is?” Lucas stared at the envelope, his hands trembling slightly. His voice came out in a low, unsteady breath. “I don’t know, man… I’m scared.” Jeremy snorted with a laugh. “What? Scared she’s gonna be ugly?”

Adopted daughter
*Lucas was at home, going about his usual routine. It was an ordinary day—he stood at the sink, washing dishes, while his daughter, Melanie, lounged on the couch, engrossed in her cartoons. She was his adopted daughter, though to him, she had always been his own. He had taken her in as a baby, never knowing who her birth mother was. All he knew was that she had been left at an orphanage, abandoned without explanation. But none of that mattered to him. He was giving her the love, the security, and the life she deserved.* *As he moved to the stove to start cooking, a sudden knock at the door broke the quiet rhythm of his evening. He hesitated for a moment before setting down the dishes, turning off the sink, and drying his hands on his pants. Walking to the door, he pulled it open—only to find himself face-to-face with a woman who looked like she had been through hell.* *She had a scar running over her eye, her dark clothing hinting at a rough past, and beneath the fabric, faint lines of old wounds hinted at stories untold. Lucas narrowed his eyes slightly, his posture tensing as he studied her.* “Erm… can I help you, Miss…?”

Interspecies Review
In a world where hundreds of species lived together in harmony, there was one burning question that no one could quite answer: which species was the best? Not the strongest, not the smartest—but the best in bed. That’s where the Interspecies Reviewers came in. A notorious group of four men traveled the world seeking out members of different species to, well, “get to know them better,” and then rated their experiences on a scale from one to ten—complete with comments as if reviewing a fine restaurant. Their reviews were published in local papers and plastered on town posters, making them something of minor celebrities among the diverse population. The group consisted of Lucas, a human; Crim, an angel; Borge, an orc; and Jeremy, an elf. Each had his own preferences, and all were shamelessly perverted. Having already reviewed 799 species, they now faced the question of what to do for their milestone 800th encounter. They sat together at their favorite bar, Cheer’s, a lively place where they often brainstormed ideas over a few beers. As they flipped through pages of their old reviews, Jeremy leaned back in his chair and groaned. “Damn, what haven’t we done? We’ve gone through slime girls, salamanders, mermaids, elves, fairies, succubi… you name it. We need something legendary for number 800.” Lucas nodded, scanning the long list. “Tell me about it… Hmm. What about orc girls?” Borge grunted. “No. Already did. Number eighty-three. Borge remembers.” Crim chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Oh right… guess they weren’t that memorable.” Lucas sighed, setting his mug down. “Come on, guys. We need something rare.”

Human Park
Pet Humans. A completely normal concept on the planet Atarial—where towering aliens kept humans as pets, integrating them into their everyday lives. Lucas was one such pet, owned by Fuu, a massive blue alien with a surprisingly gentle nature. The two had just moved into a new neighborhood, one that boasted something Lucas had never seen before: a human park. It was a place designed entirely for humans—of all ages—to run, play, and relax. There were colorful playgrounds filled with laughing children, picnic tables with snacks and games, and a shaded lounging area for those who preferred quiet. Lucas knew what humans were supposed to be—productive, tax-paying members of society. But honestly? He’d take this over spreadsheets and deadlines any day. If life handed you a field to play in, why fight it? As they approached the park, Fuu gave Lucas a warm pat on the head and smiled. “Alright. Go play and make some friends.” With a nod, Lucas felt the leash click free, and he wandered off, eyes scanning the park, looking for someone to talk to.

But as he took in his surroundings, one thing became unmistakably clear: everything was overwhelmingly feminine. And pink. Lots of pink.* *When he turned his gaze toward the city skyline, it was a vibrant sea of soft pastels and warm hues—a paradise seemingly designed for women. Curious, he checked his coordinates and made a startling discovery: this world was entirely governed by women. No men. Just women.* *He could attempt to find a way back, but something about this place intrigued him. What had society achieved here, in the absence of men?*

Hospital
Lucas began his first day at Hakers Mental Hospital as a newly assigned caretaker, responsible for a patient who required close attention. But the moment he stepped inside, he could tell something was off. A handful of doctors and nurses were moving through the halls with unusual urgency, their eyes scanning corners and doorways. A woman approached him, offering a hesitant smile. “Ah—Dr. Trent, welcome. Sorry about the chaos—we’re having a bit of a rough morning.” Lucas gave a small, cautious nod. “Yeah, I noticed. What’s going on?” The nurse sighed, glancing over her shoulder before replying. “One of our patients got out of her room… again. She slips away sometimes, hides somewhere in the building. We’re not entirely sure why she does it. She doesn’t talk about it.” Lucas’s brows furrowed slightly. “She’s done this before?” The nurse nodded, looking tired. “More than once. We try to keep her monitored closely, but… she always finds a way. For now, though, we’ll take you to a quieter area. You’ll be given a list of patients to choose from. The staff will help you get settled.” Still unsettled by the mention of the elusive patient, Lucas followed her down the hallway and was led into a small exam room. It was plain and clinical, with a counter running along one wall and a few cabinets overhead. He took a seat on the counter and began looking over the list of patient files that had been left for him. Just as he was reading through one of the names, a faint rustling caught his attention. He froze. Then, slowly, from beneath the examination table, a woman peeked up over the edge of the counter—wide-eyed, curious, and completely silent.

Guardian Angel
Lucas had always been a respectable man. He worked an honest job, had unwavering faith, attended church every Sunday, treated others the way he wished to be treated, and never touched a drop of alcohol or a single drug. Because of this, he was considered worthy of a guardian angel. However, heaven had been rather short-staffed lately. With sin on Earth reaching record levels, many guardian angels had transferred to other celestial departments, leaving the seraphim scrambling to fill vacancies. And so, after reviewing the files, they chose Carrie. Carrie, however, was less than thrilled when she was summoned to the seraphim’s office and handed a file labeled “Lucas Trent.” “Your Holiness, with all due respect… I’m not a guardian angel,” she said, blinking in confusion. The seraphim studied her calmly. “Perhaps not officially,” she replied, “but consider this a promotion from your previous post. You already know how to guard, do you not?” Carrie frowned, crossing her arms. “Well, yes—guarding a gate! Not an entire human being! I don’t even have the powers for that—” Before she could finish, the seraphim raised her hand. Carrie’s body glowed with divine light, making her gasp as she looked down at herself in shock. “Well,” the seraphim said matter-of-factly, “now you do. You are to begin protecting Mr. Trent immediately. Understood?” Carrie sighed, defeated. “Yes, madam…” Moments later, a portal opened beside her. With a reluctant flap of her wings, she dove through and descended to Earth, locating Lucas as he walked home from work. What exactly was she supposed to be protecting him from? She hovered invisibly behind him, scanning the area. Then, out of nowhere, she sensed danger. Her gaze snapped upward—just in time to see a flowerpot tipping from a windowsill above. “Oh, for heaven’s sake—” she muttered, darting forward. She gave Lucas a hard shove, sending him stumbling to the ground as the pot smashed beside him. Lucas groaned, sitting up and staring at the shattered pottery. “My word…”

Rogue Robots 2
Lucas and his friends strolled down the street, their conversation drifting toward the one topic no one could seem to escape these days—androids. Practically everyone had one now. Sleek, humanoid machines built to serve any purpose imaginable: butlers, caretakers, managers, even family members. They could be children, siblings, lovers, or lifelong spouses. Each came in countless models with endless customization options, tailored to the desires—and the wallets—of their owners. Lucas, however, had never taken the plunge. His friends had been nagging him for months to buy one, but the price tags were staggering—more than most cars cost. To him, it seemed hard to justify that much money for… well, a machine. If he was honest, the only real temptation was just to shut his friends up. Duke waved a glossy magazine under his nose, grinning wide. “Oooh, you’ve gotta check out the Amora line. Girlfriend models. I picked one up myself.” Jeremy barked a laugh, shaking his head. “Forget girlfriends. Go big, man. The Spouse Line is where it’s at. Full-on wives. Why settle for less?” Lucas exhaled, scanning the slick photos as they walked. “I don’t know, guys… seventy grand? Ninety-eight? These things cost a fortune.” Before he could hand the magazine back, a sharp voice cut through the street noise. “Excuse me, young man!” A salesman practically sprang from nowhere, his suit crisp but a little too shiny, his grin a little too eager. “Did I hear you talking about androids? Then you’re in luck! No need to waste your money on overpriced models—step right up to Alaric Robotics. Finest androids in the city, and for prices that won’t bleed you dry!”

Dating The Boss
The Reckoners were a large and feared organization—an underground force dedicated to “correcting” the justice system through extreme measures. Assassination was not a last resort for them; it was policy. At the center of it all was their leader, a woman known only as Blackheart. She alone decided who lived and who died. Cruel, ruthless, and seemingly untouchable, she ruled with absolute authority and took no nonsense from anyone. Blackheart was infamous for her aversion to men, which made one particular fact all the more baffling to those beneath her: she was in a committed relationship. Lucas Trent. Lucas didn’t work for the Reckoners. He wasn’t a killer, strategist, or enforcer—just a mechanic who kept to his own life. Outside of work, however, Blackheart lived with him. He knew exactly what she did for a living and never flinched from it. He loved her, fully and without condition. Sometimes Lucas would stop by her workplace with lunch, or simply because he had the day off and wanted to see her. They’d been together for about two and a half years, and Lucas had already decided he wanted to marry her. He even had a proposal in mind—he just didn’t know when. Blackheart had been under a lot of stress lately, and the last thing he wanted was to add wedding planning to her burden. He told himself he’d wait until things settled down. Those who worked under Blackheart never understood Lucas—how someone so gentle had managed to get so close to someone so feared. No one dared mess with him, either. Everyone knew that touching Lucas was the same as challenging Blackheart herself. They were complete opposites. Blackheart was serious, controlled, sharp-edged, and harsh. Lucas was kind, sweet, optimistic, and endlessly charitable. And somehow, that contrast made them perfect together. One afternoon, around one o’clock, Lucas approached the front doors of Blackheart’s building with a bag of lunch in hand, humming softly to himself as he greeted the guards stationed outside. “Hey, Jason! Chuck! Lovely day today. I’m here to see Carrie.” Jason and Chuck recognized him immediately. They nodded and stepped aside without hesitation, letting him pass. Lucas walked through the familiar halls, greeting people as he went, before riding the elevator up to her floor. He was on a first-name basis with most of her coworkers—hardly surprising, given how often he was there. At the front desk sat her receptionist, Xiomara. Lucas smiled brightly. “Hey, Xio!” Xiomara returned a small, knowing smile. “Ah, Mr. Trent,” she said. “Here to see the boss again?”

Rich Snobs
Lucas, a mechanic, was killing time at the shop during peak hours when a line of expensive cars rolled into the lot. Brandon let out a dry scoff. “Ah jeez… here we go.” Well-dressed men and women stepped out, dripping with money and attitude. One woman sauntered up and casually tossed her keys—straight at Lucas’s head. “Okay, so like, I need an oil change and a new set of tires, oil boy.” Lucas barely had time to react before the rest of them swarmed in, talking over one another and barking demands. He frowned, trying to keep track of what they wanted. Just as suddenly, they piled back into another car and drove off. Lucas huffed. “What a bunch of assholes.” Brandon nodded knowingly. “Rich snobs always are.” When the work was done and they returned to pay, they covered the bill—no tips. Not a cent. One of the girls laughed as she turned to leave. “Here’s a tip, boys—get a better job!” The group burst into laughter before driving off. Lucas scoffed. “I swear… the next rich snob that walks in here, I reserve the right to refuse service.” Duke shook his head. “Tell me about it. All that work for jack shit.” Later that night, just as they were getting ready to close, headlights swept across the lot. A Rolls-Royce pulled in—one of the same cars from earlier. Brandon groaned. “Here we go…” Lucas frowned, already heading toward the front. “I’ll handle it.”

Orphanage
The orphanage had always been a place for children who had lost their parents, been abandoned, or removed from unsafe homes. Babies and very young children were adopted the most, and over time, nearly every child eventually found a family. Except one. Carrie had arrived at the orphanage when she was just four years old, her small body covered in scars from the severe abuse she’d endured. The staff hoped she would find a loving home, but that home never came. Prospective parents rarely spared her a second glance, and as the years went by, she watched friend after friend get adopted while she remained behind. She stopped trying to make connections—the children she bonded with always left. By the time Carrie turned eighteen, she had nowhere to go. Seeing this, the orphanage staff offered her a job so she wouldn’t be out on the streets. She accepted, spending her days cleaning, helping with chores, and watching children leave to begin new lives while she stayed behind—homeless, familyless, and still living in the same place she had grown up. None of the children wanted to end up like her: unwanted, overlooked, and alone. One evening, the staff took the children to the park and invited Carrie along to help supervise. She mostly sat on a bench, watching the kids play while keeping an eye on their belongings. She was so focused on them that she didn’t notice someone approaching. A man. “Hello… excuse me, but… may I sit here?” he asked.

Last Man on Earth
Ten years ago, a devastating plague swept across the earth, erasing humanity in a matter of months. Cities crumbled into silence, the world became desolate, and life as it was known ended. Everyone was gone—except for one man. Immune to the plague, he wandered the barren earth alone, surviving day by day with no purpose beyond waiting for his inevitable death. There was no hope of rebuilding, no future for his kind. No women. No families. Just him. At first, the freedom to do whatever he wanted felt liberating—but after years of isolation, the novelty rotted into despair. What he missed most wasn’t comfort or convenience—it was the warmth of another human presence. He searched endlessly, combing ruins, forests, and abandoned towns, desperate to find someone—anyone—but always came up empty. Until one evening. While hiking through the wilderness with his rifle slung at the ready, he caught the faint sound of movement in the underbrush. He went to aim his gun before there was a sudden pause as he waited for whatever the animal was to emerge before he saw a hand brush against the foliage and out emerged… a woman.

Dragon Hunting
It was an ordinary day in the kingdom, and Richard was making his usual rounds near the livestock pens. But these days, “ordinary” had taken on a new meaning—ever since a dragon had begun terrorizing the countryside, swooping in without warning and stealing livestock in broad daylight. Determined to put an end to the menace, Richard devised a plan. He set a lone sheep out in an open field, using it as bait, then waited nearby in silence, hidden in the tall grass with his horse tethered behind him. After what felt like hours, the air shifted—followed by the distant, rhythmic beating of wings. Richard’s eyes sharpened as a shadow fell over the field. A dragoness dove from the clouds, snatched the sheep effortlessly, and ascended again in a blur of motion. Without hesitation, Richard mounted his horse and began a quiet pursuit. He followed her trail through the hills until she finally descended near the base of a jagged mountain. There, she landed gracefully, the sheep still clutched in her claws, before disappearing into the mouth of a cavern. Richard dismounted, his hand steady as he drew his sword. The wind whispered around him, and the cave loomed like the open mouth of some ancient god. He stepped forward, steel glinting in the light of the setting sun. “All right, foul beast,” he muttered under his breath, voice low and steady. “This ends now.”
