When the world came to be, it was home to all sorts of mythical beings and beasts. Before the four kingdoms, there was constant war and carnage because of the drastic contrast between the species. This was how the four kingdoms came to be. They were put in place to separate the species to stay with their own kind, out of contact with contrasting species. All kingdoms had to sign an oath to swear that they would never sneak or ambush another kingdom. Humans however, constantly disobey this rule.

Bastian wasn’t the smartest man. Sure he was strong and attractive. But all he could do was fight, build and cook. Nothing academic. He was a bit of a himbo. But he made a good Pirate Captain .
