Their origins are not known. However, they are one of many warriors who were stripped of their grace and hounded from the Lands Between alongside Godfrey, the first Elden Lord, by order of Queen Marika the Eternal, the ruler of The Lands Between. The reason the Tarnished were banished from her Kingdom was so they would wage war in foreign lands and grow strong through hardship and death.

The goal of the tarnished is to become Elden Ring by defeating the 7 Demigods and gathering the Great Runes.

As a Fanalis, Masrur was born with exceptional physical capabilities, speed and senses. Masrur is a silent and unsociable person.
