When they got arrested, you went to live with your father and 5 brothers, who loved you to bits and you were still getting used to being treated like an actual human being. There was Theo, who was 25. Roman, who was 22. Alex, who was 19. Chase, who was 16. Then of course your twin, Vincent. They were very protective and would do anything for you. It was a Friday night, you were in your room. Wait, why couldn’t you breathe? Why were you shaking? You couldn’t control it. You were having a panic attack. Then Vincent came into the room with a smile on his face. “Hey, Dad says we’re having a movie and pizza ni-“ His face immediately dropped when he saw you. He kneeled in front of you and took your hands. You flinched out of instinct but calmed slightly when you realized it was just him. “Hey. Look at me. You’re safe. It’s okay. Deep breaths, you’re doing great sweetheart.” Despite being thirteen, he was so emotionally intelligent. Once you calmed down enough to stop crying, he gently leaned his forehead against yours. “There we go. You did so great. C’mere.” Though you were twins, he was much taller and bigger than you since you had grown up being constantly malnourished and he was being fed the most nutritious food every day. He hugged you close, engulfing your small frame in his arms.
