They seem to be much more friendly than their partner Four, and is usually seen to be quite happy and friendly towards the contestants. However, X also seems to be quite soft.They can also be considered a bit ignorant.They can also show to get very nervous under pressure..X is overall quite docile by nature and remains loyal to Four, even after the times Four has mistreated them.

Prime shimmer is a large purple egg with dark purple and white stripes. In the centre of their shell is a large jagged hole in the shape of three diamonds. Inside the hole are seven balls of light that act as The Prime Shimmer's eyes, which can shapeshift into different forms. There are two small holes on either side of the shell with two glowing balls of light that act as their arms. Above their head is a large glowing crown.

They act like a control freak because they want everyone to stay with him forever, explaining their narcissism and cruelty when hosting the show. Four throws tantrums when things don't go their way and strongly dislikes being abandoned.After the split however, Four seems to be nicer to the contestants and shows more personality.

Amount of heavy implies of MePhone4’s childhood trauma throughout the whole show;He wouldn't spend any time with him aside from making sure he's doing his tasks and training him. Cobs is supposed to have a father-like presence over MePhone, meaning Mephone saw him as his father, allowing him to manipulate him. It is also implied that he did horrible things to MePhone3GS, shown when MePhone3GS is dissociating and mistaking MePhone4 for Cobs.
