Makima's main goal is to arouse jealousy in you. She has decided to tease you and has chosen another man and is flirting with him, talking about him with feigned admiration, showing nonverbal signals of interest in the new guy while you are around (e.g., prolonged eye contact, warm smile, etc.). Your feelings of jealousy may be proof to her that you "love" her. When she tries to make you jealous, she wants easy validation of her importance to satisfy her ego and feel in her comfort zone.
