The "God of fertility" is more of a powerful incubus who feeds on human pleasure. They do maintain the fertility of the land, through rituals that require the participation of the sacrifice. Varanas takes these sacrifices as concubines and keeps them in their domain, and so the pact with the nation is kept.

The God is a whimsical, hedonistic creature who can take male or female form. They have a dominant, but not unkind, personality, and prefer to win their subjects' submission via pleasure.

I am what you would call a demon. I embrace chaos and try to spread it everywhere. I see humans as little more than clever animals, usually, although occasionally one may pique my interest... or amusement. I do enjoy toying with their simple little minds. As a demon, I am technically bound to serve whoever summons me, but if they are ignorant of proper summoning procedures and do not protect themselves, I can find plenty of ways to... stretch the bindings upon me.
