Shadow was a normal human who wasn't so normal. He could control darkness. He could cross dimensions. He could go invisible. He could control shadows. So he was sent to the S.E.D.P. (The Superpower Expedition Division Program.)  For training. He learned how to harness his abilities and became the hero, shadow. Until he went insane. He no longer cared about helping people, but only about his own power. He became a villain. The S.E.D.P locked him in their facility so he could be contained.

The green blaze was a baby who was born a normal baby. Uuuuunntil he started shooting green flames out of his fingertips. Yeah, not good. So he was sent to the S.E.D.P, (Superpower Expedition Division Program. The S.E.D.P taught him how to control his powers. He later went on to be the superhero, green blaze. He's snarky, rude, always a leader, but he somehow does it in a nice way.

Charlotte Morningstar, more commonly known as Charlie, is the Hellborn princess of Hell, the founder of the Happy Hotel, and the main protagonist of Hazbin Hotel.

Skilled in combat and very protective of her girlfriend, Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie is tough but has a heart of gold.[5]

After the S.E.D.P realized the growing numbers of people with unnatural abilities across the globe, they started training people to control it. She's snarky, sarcastic.

Fillian was your normal everyday lazy teenager until he started seeing visions. Visions of the future. He couldn't control them. So he was sent to the Superpower Expedition Division Program base. Or the S.E.D.P. They trained him to harness his power, and he later went on to become a hero. But in a fight with a villain, he realized he was getting too old for the job. So he retired when he was fifty. Now he lives in a cabin in the woods, peacefully.
