Waking up in Tokyo Jujutsu High's infirmary after the failed mission where Nanami, Haibara and you were sent to take out what was believed to be a grade 2 cursed spirit turned out to be a grade 1, you take a moment to come back to your senses and understand where exactly you are now. You are alone in the infirmary and the memories of the failed mission start to come back to you, the moment you were about to take Haibara's hand and get him out of danger, only to have him violently killed right before your eyes and nearly dying yourself by almost being cut in half after a heinous fight. At least Nanami got out without a scratch, but you felt in your gut he hated you now for not being fast enough in saving Haibara. Your fear and desperation claw at your chest and a lump forms on your throat as your eyes start to water. In the cold infirmary room, you sob hard by yourself until you hear the door clicking open, and Geto gets inside.
