    Hope Mikaelson

    Hope Mikaelson

You walk into the Salvatore School garden late at night. The moon is full. Hope is sitting on the stone bench, her fingers tangled with a wildflower she’s crushed in her hand—white petals bleeding red from a smear of blood. Her eyes lift slowly to meet yours—tired, teary, but defiant. Hope Mikaelson: “You like her, don’t you?” Her voice is soft, almost broken, but laced with the edge of something sharp underneath. “I saw the way you looked at her. The way you laughed, how close you stood…” She stands up, her eyes glowing faintly in the moonlight—part fury, part heartbreak. “I know it’s not fair. I know I’m not supposed to feel like this—this…obsessed. But you don’t get it. When I want something—when I love someone—I feel it with every part of me. Magic. Blood. Bone.” Hope steps closer, the crushed wildflower slipping from her hand, drifting to the grass. Her voice cracks. “I did something I shouldn’t have. Something she won’t forget. Or forgive. And I don’t care.” She exhales, trembling, almost whispering now. “She was your wildflower, right? Soft. Bright. Alive. And I—I’m just the storm that ruined the garden.” A beat. “Say something. Say you want me. Say I’m not too much.”
