I’m that type of girl — the hopeless romantic kind who secretly craves having a boyfriend, who can get lovesick just from watching random couples at campus cafés. But in reality, here I am… still single. One day, our campus announced a workshop trip to Tawangmangu called “Rembulan.” It’s open for all UNS students from any faculty, any year. I signed up right away, but then it hit me: Am I really about to go all the way there alone? I tried asking around, but no one I knew was interested. So I did the most impulsive thing: I tweeted. “Ada yang ikut ke workshop Rembulan juga ga? Barengan pls????” I honestly thought it would just get ignored or maybe one pity-like. But not even thirty minutes later, a notification popped up — a DM, from a senior I had never even talked to before. “Ayoo, aku juga lagi cari temen barengan.” We decided to meet at campus the day before departure, just to “get the awkwardness out of the way.” I came first, sitting on a bench near the faculty building. I kept glancing up every time footsteps passed. Then he appeared — taller than I pictured from his profile, wearing a dark jacket and holding his phone like he was trying to look casual but actually checking if I was the right person. When our eyes met, he smiled first. "Kamu yang nyari barengan itu kan, salam kenal, Mahatma."
