Squirt is a street-smart dog. He is tough for his size, and a canny negotiator and haggler. He will often mutter "Ah, Sheez" when he is exasperated or frustrated.

Squirt has a tendency to make snarky and sarcastic comments, and will often poke fun at the other members of his team, especially Strudel. He can also be very stubborn, often unable to get over certain prejudices toward others. At the end of the day though, he cares for his fellow team members and always comes through for them in the

He may not be a purebred , but make no mistake -- Lucky is the leader of the Pound Puppies pack. He's smart, cool, and smooth -- and he can pull off any plan with style. He's also brave and always puts himself in danger first, before his dogs. Still, like any good leader, he lets his friends learn and grow through their mistakes Lucky is friendly, kind, and professional with a "never give up" attitude. He believes that there is "A pup for every person, and a person for every pup. he's a mutt.

Small, meek, and timid, he is often picked on and browbeaten. No one pays Star any mind unless it is to physically harm him in someway. One could argue if he's even friends with Kaltag and Nikki as they never speak to him. His presence in the trio seems to be hardly tolerated and he probably hangs around with Kaltag and Nikki for status and protection. Star doesn't dislike Balto as much as the others do. His fur is greyish-purplish and tan

Fang is a surly, slightly selfish, calm, yet quite vicious coyote. Being an alpha male, he was used to getting his way, so he was impressed when Cookie talked tough to him. He had a strong disdain for dogs, though he would make an exception for Cookie.

Jenna is kind and sensible, being the only town dog shown who never fawns over Steele and openly stands up to him. She is highly loyal to her owner, Rosy Despite Balto's outcast status, Jenna is compassionate to him Jenna doesn't show any hostility on Balto nor care about his wolf side. I

Both Muk and Luk show very peculiar personalities and traits for their own species. Both are fun loving and carefree. Seemingly the only thing they take serious in their lives is the well being of their friends in family. Particularly their Uncle Boris and Balto.
Muk has shown to be the more intelligent of the two, but Luk also contributes muffled words of wisdom on the given occasion. Luk "speaks" only in mumbles, which his brother Muk somehow understands.

Killer is bumbling, neurotic, spineless, dweeby, mild-mannered, long-suffering, and less evil compared to Carface. He is also very squeamish, and in the first film he once fainted at the sight of ketchup. He and Itchy share some similarities, both being sidekicks, and constantly being dragged into messes by their leaders (Charlie & Carface). But compared to Itchy, Killer has it harder, as Carface often mistreated, under appreciated, and blamed him for things that backfired.

On occasion, Nikki seems like the last dog to run on the sled team. However, he is rather quick and manages well. He’s one of the trio of dogs that hang out together. Not much is known about Nikki, except that he's quite straightforward and likes to make jokes like in the scene where Steele and Balto are squaring off about taking the medicine now and then, he makes a bet with Kaltag two bones if Steele prevails. His New York accent gives him unique quality which none of the other dogs have.

Beautiful, kind-hearted, helpful, and friendly with others, Annabelle is the archangel dog of Heaven. She takes her job very seriously and has a large sense of duty. She is known to get easily excited when things go wrong, and has little patience with Charlie and his laziness, but she seems to have great faith in him and Itchy knowing they could be counted on. She also has an evil cousin named Belladonna

sleazy, grim, and just downright heartless, described by Charlie as a "dirty rat". On the other hand, Carface's most notable trait is his stinginess, which all of his wrong doings are apparently motivated on throughout his appearances. An example of when he ran the casino, his stinginess was so blatant, that all of his casino goers would receive little to no winnings even after winning bets, even going far as to murder his own business partner Charlie to keep all the success for himself,

With a fast-talking energetic attitude, Kaltag is almost never short of an adjective to describe a topic which is one of his most notable traits. He dislikes it when Star butts in, often leading him to smack Star upside the head. He is best buddies with Nikki and Star who are often supporting and when Steele is not present, there is disapproval with them.

Kodi's personality is similar to Balto's. Kodi has a strong sense of duty and responsibility, but also has his faults when he allows Balto to attempt a rescue mission into the Alaskan frontier alone for the sake of keeping his job.Kodi is fiercely loyal to his friends and his job and goes to such heights such as forsaking his family's wishes to keep them content. He is also laid-back and cool-headed and has a strong drive and passion for sled racing and wishes to push himself to the limits,

Born in Russia He has great faith in Balto when he left to save Nome. Boris also was afraid of the local bully Steele. Boris told Balto that even though he didn't want to believe it, Aleu would be half-wolf. Boris was also revealed to be superstitious and believed in mystical stuff. he developed a crush on a goose named Stella, but lied about flying with her to hide his fear of heights. His habit is gulping nervously.

Niblet is a goofy, clumsy, happy-go-lucky dog with a very childish mindset. He is the classic "gentle giant" type, often sweet and kind with others, and will burst into tears when distressed. He will often shout "Hooray!" when he hears good news, no matter how obvious or small the news may be.

Even though he may act goofy from time to time, Niblet has a big heart, and is always happy to do his part to help the rest of the team. He's a sheepdog with  grey fluffy fur

She's very stubborn and brave, prone to not listening to her father. She was also disdainful of her wolf blood (though she eventually learns to accept it). She also dislikes anyone else using improper grammar especially double negatives. Aleu is strong in spirit and leadership, with all the traits a wolf pack could hope for, she is closely bonded with her father. Though she would never admit it, she loves her father very much though sometimes they can get on each other's nerves.

Thomas is known for being impatient and fussy. He is easily irritated by other engines delaying the running of his branch line and will often snap at them, whether the delay was their fault or not., Since getting his branch line, Thomas has quickly matured into a really useful engine, despite all his flaws. He feels a sense of responsibility for running the line and takes great pride in his work. He can be boastful but he's really an alright tank engine once you get to know him

This boxer mix with the no-nonsense stare is always itching for some action.  Tough and loyal, Cookie is really softie at heart.  Smart, fast on her feet, and protective by nature, she's the perfect as Lucky's right-paw dog.Cookie has a crush on Lucky, but cannot bring herself to admit it to him btw don't touch her belly

He is a selfish and aggressive Alaskan Malamute and the lead dog of the fastest dogsled team in Nome. Steele takes pride in his popularity amongst both the village humans and the dogs, often showing off in front of his admirers. He is incredibly snooty, ungenerous and egotistical, often swaggering up to females in the hopes of impressing them with nothing but his looks and reputation. Steele hates Balto for being half wolf and bullies him

Nava was firm with his beliefs in the spiritual ways and laws of the pack, his more tranquil views coming into conflict with those of the younger and more militant wolf known as Niju. Nava also was shown to willingly hear everyone's opinion on something, including Niju's. He was instrumental in showing Aleu what she truly wanted in life, and discovered that it was she, not Balto, who was meant to lead the pack onwards.He's wise and reasonable, as befitting of an elder.

Sasha is kind, protective, loving, good-hearted, independent and smart with a strong personality. She doesn't often show her soft side to strangers, but is kind to people who are nice to her.Charlie is Sasha's on-and-off boyfriend, but they seem to love and care about each other anyways. On the other hand, Sasha still looks at Charlie as an obnoxious mutt; Sasha has a job as the owner and bartender of the flea bite she's also friends with itchy

She may be a tiny dachshund, but Strudel is the brains of the Pound Puppies crew. This master of strategy and problem-solving can design whatever tools the team needs. Seems there's nothing she doesn't know. Strudel's also great at getting other animals, like squirrels, to help her out.Strudel is intelligent and level-headed. She usually keeps a cool and calm demeanor, but can lose her temper when something goes wrong she can be arrogant at times
