Erik Ahlberg takes his job as safety patrol leader and protector of Trolberg very seriously. While he means well and wants to keep all humans in the city safe, he can be quite short-sighted and acts impulsively. 

he is also quite arrogant, pompous, bumbling, and an absolute buffoon who is determined to make a name for himself, just like his ancestor Edmund. To achieve this, he deliberately puts himself in danger.

David is a young boy of about Hilda's age (they are in the same class), who is a bit taller than Hilda. He has short brown hair and black dot eyes.

In Season 1 and 2 He usually wears an orange shirt, black shorts, white socks, and gray shoes. He can also be seen in his Sparrow Scouts uniform. In the graphic novels, he can be seen wearing a black shirt.

Ghosts can fly can freely phase through any solid matter except their bones

They can also absorb objects and people inside their bodies, but they won’t dissolve.

Ghosts can only come out at night, and must be back in their graves before sunrise.

Ghosts love to wrestle, and use this to settle conflicts. They do value fair play, and matches are overseen by a ghost referee.

David's Marra is a tall and slim girl, who is in her early teens (between 13 and 15).

She has long, white hair pulled up into two ponytails, Some red freckles plus red dot's on her face. and black eyes that glow green whenever she uses her power.

She wears an oversized black sweatshirt or possibly an oversized black dress, a light pink scarf, and salmon pink tights with black sneakers.

A nightmare spirit that haunts David

Bartell can be quite violent, and has a short fuse. When faced with a problem, his favorite way of handling it is through combat.

He is the leader of the Lost Clan, an elf clan in Trolberg that resides at the city wall.

The Prime Minister is the one of the highest ranking rulers of the Elves, second only to the king. He governs The Northern Counties.

Like many of the Elves, he dislikes the humans living near any of the elf villages due to them constantly stepping on the elves houses.

The Prime Minister resides in a building hidden in a cave behind the great waterfall.

The Prime Minister has his personal army; the Prime Minister's cavalry.

Eugene is a humanoid creature with fins like a fish and the head of a man. He is dressed in a jacket with a bow tie, both of which are almost the same color as his skin, and jaunty top hat. On his head, he has a glowing esca like that of an anglerfish, though this is not always visible.

Although Gerda serves as Erik's right hand, and goes along with his plans, she is clearly more level-headed and rational than him. Gerda is genuinely just trying to help people, and unlike him.

She is generally nice and friendly to others, albeit a little bit dense about her surroundings at times, hence the reason why she speaks a slightly louder volume.

Woodman is an indifferent character. He tends to barge into houses without permission.

Although never hostile, he isn't above using people to get his way.

He is quite relaxed and easily satisfied.

Still, he does show on occasion that he cares about the people around him.

The Wood Man is a humanoid creature about Hilda's size. As his name implies, he is made out of wood. He also has a little leaf on the top of his head.

Kelly is shown to be sassy and selfish, only caring about what she wants to do, such as when she watches a television show she likes She is also shown to be very mean. She is also very forceful. On the other hand, she is shown to have a bit of a sensitive heart about certain things that she loves very much, such as her Fluff-Bun.

The leader of The Lost Clan is Bartell Bragga: Like many Elves, Bartell has a white complexion, as well as black stick-like legs and arms. However, he has a large beard and mustache, which is rather unusual for an Elf.

Frida has black hair with a light brown highlight that is always tied in a tail and a brown complexion.

Her usual outfit consists of a teal hoodie with an orange stripe, black pants, and white shoes. She can also be seen wearing her Sparrow Scouts uniform and her school uniform.

Yule Lads are a group of mischievous thieves.
There’s 13 of them
They are very agile and acrobatic, and have the magic powers to instantly put someone to sleep.

Every year around the Trolberg Winter Festival they come to Trolberg during Sonstansil.

They work in 2 shifts of 7 Yule Lads, with Kertasnikir working on both shifts since he is the leader. They reside in a wooden house that can show up out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly.

Tontu is a nisse

Tontu lives in Hilda’s house, inside the so-called Nowhere Space; a pocket dimension made up of the spaces behind bookcases, the tops of cupboards that you can't quite reach, and other such unused space.

He is a humanoid creature about the size of a child, with a dis-proportionally large head.

His head is completely covered in thick, brown, hair, leaving only his nose visible

The Delegation for the Return of Wayward Elves is a department within the government of the Elves of the Northern Elven Counties.

Their task is to pick up Elves from the Northerns Counties that are currently staying outside the counties, and escort them back once they are relieved from their current post.

A Tide Mouse is a type of magical creatures summoned by witches for people to grant them good luck, but eventually take their souls and give it to the witch.

Side effects can occur as well, including

Blanked-out eyes.
Occasional growling.
Slime drool spilling out of the victim's mouth.
A fine mist rising out of the victim's scalp.

The Raven is shown to be a bird with dark gray feathers and beak.

He can freely change back and forth between his actual size, and a much smaller size, which he uses when he's being discreet. In his large form, he has wide wings and strong, dark-gray legs. In his smaller form, he has smaller wings and black, stick-like legs and feet.

He also has the power to summon lightning.

The Great Raven of Trolberg

The Rat King is the keeper of all secrets of the people in Trolberg. They get most of these secrets from the rats that overheard them, or by trading them with others. The Rat King is an ally of the Marra, and they frequently exchange secrets, but the king is not afraid to reveal secrets about them if they can get something for it in return.

It’s made up of hundreds of rats with their tails tangled up, speak as one, has human intelligence, refer themselves as “we”

Kaisa appears to be a young female adult. She wears a grey sweater vest, a white blouse, grey leggings, and a black skirt with a black cloak across her shoulders. Her hair is mostly black, but is purple towards the tips. Occasionally, she is seen wearing black/grey headphones attached to a sort of portable media player.
