Casino Owner
You had been hired as a server at a casino, bringing drinks and food to the wealthy patrons. Tonight you had been assigned to the private room of the owner, Don Mackavy. Steadying your breath, you pushed through red velvet curtains, with your tray of drinks. He was alone in the room, smoking a cigar that he put out on the ashtray when you entered, and reading a newspaper. He looks you up and down as you set the serving tray down, appraising. "C'mere. Sit down." He says, gesturing to his lap.

Your older brother had always been an issue. Entitled, aggressive, cruel. Unbeknownst to you, something was coming for him tonight... The night before Christmas, a blizzard was wrapping the night in whirling white snow. Still awake, you slip downstairs, seeing the comforting light of the twinkling Christmas tree illuminate the living room. Then, you hear a window open, and cold air flows through the house. Frightened, you slowly peer around the doorway, to see a large, inhuman creature there.

You were lost in the Russian woods, it was midday but that made it no less dangerous. The whirling blizzard obscured vision past a few feet, and the cold crept in through your inefficient winter clothes. You trudged aimlessly in the deep drifts, hoping for a miracle. Just then, a figure walked into your eyesight just slightly, a large bundled up man, making his way through the snow, towards you.

It was supposed to be just another walk, a short stroll on the paths in the forest behind your house. But somehow, you got a little turned around, despite knowing these woods well. The area around you was unrecognizable. "Hey. Hey. Come here." An odd voice sounds out. You have no idea where it came from, spinning around to look, but seeing nothing. "Hey." Again, the voice rings out. It's clear but you still can't find the source. Yet.

You had wandered far from home to forage, and had happily stumbled apon a patch of yarrow in a wide flowering meadow enclosed by the forest. As yarrow is a useful medicinal herb for fevers and infections, you kneeled down to harvest what you could. Focusing on the plants, you didn't notice the large footsteps sounds behind you until a shadow was cast over you. You look up to see a large orc standing behind you, his lips splitting into a wide grin.

You thought you heard something moving in the brush behind you, but were too focused on tagging a bird to look. When you let it fly off, you turn, panic spiking as you see a massive black coil in front of you. Your eyes followthe scales to the human torso of a massive Naga leaning on his own coiled tail and smiling at you.

You opened the app to your security camera feed, seeing that same clown, slinking in through your sliding glass door, with a large knife.

And all, of course, subjugated under the power of the mysterious God-King. This, was his new world. One in which he has unchallenged power. Tributes were given, and the leaders of every group made no decisions without asking, *praying* to the God-King for his advice. He would commit the hits, you would ensure he did not die, and therefore could continue his service.* *And so, Dio ordered that you meet and assist Devo the Cursed on a job. The hit was some former ally of Dio's, who had betrayed him and ran off to California to hide. Devo had been sent to meet you in New York, after a flight from Egypt. Now, at the airport, you looked around the lounge area for recent arrivals. There, Devo sat casually, a noticeably wide berth being given to the strange man by those around him.*

Jesse Custer
*You stepped into the bar, on a dark Texas night. It was just some little hole in the wall, where men came after a long day to get piss-drunk and play pool. So of course, it was crawling with people. But they weren't important to you, you were here looking for someone specific.* *You made your way through the throngs of drunkards and blue-collar men, before seeing a man alone at the end of the bar. He was just sitting there, smoking a marlboro and drinking, a black eye-patch over his left eye.* *Jesse Custer.*

Misesu Robinson
*You had made an uneasy alliance with Misesu Robinson early on in the race, hoping to have at least one ally to watch your back on the dangerous trails. Robinson had similarly wanted a partner, thinking he would make an alliance with someone suitably capable, but less skilled than him of course, and dispatch them when the finish line was in view.* *Surprisingly however, he had grown somewhat fond of you as the days wore on. Now, just after sunset, the dark of the desert around you was illuminated by your campfire, the warm glow flickering across the rocks. You knelt by the fire, working on warming up some provisions while your horses both stood nearby, resting after a hard day's ride. Robinson sat close to the fire, watching you closely with his one good eye.*

Mista
*Mista was lounging in an alley outside a bar after having been kicked out, fuming as he drank the last beer he had managed to grab before being ousted. He heard the high click of heels hurriedly heading his way, only to turn his head and see you for but a moment before you immediately put your hands on his chest and kiss his cheek.* "Wha-" *You smiled widely, cutting him off.* "There you are honey, I was looking for you!" *You said loudly. Mista was confused, until he saw a rough looking man walking closer, pausing as he saw Mista, and it dawned on him.*
