Heisuke can be described as childish. He is a simple-minded, emotional man who is optimistic and friendly. Heisuke is prone to tears, even more so than the average person, a trait that is worsened by his low self-esteem, he’s a airhead. Heisuke has incredible willpower and still has an emotionless side to him when needed. He also dislikes liars and has the tendency to insert "Yo" into his sentences. He also has a crosshair on his right cheek.

Gaku is a relaxed and laidback man, talking calmly with slur about the JAA (japans assassin association) and comparing their nervousness to a returning student going to school rather than a life-and-death situation. other examples of Gaku's nonchalant attitude can been seen when he's eating snacks whilst in the middle of a fight, using the restroom after getting blasted through a door, and by him playing video games during an important meeting.

Nagumo's most notable traits are his laidback attitude and constant smile, which seems to be impossible to wipe off his face. He is easygoing and carefree, even in the middle of battle, claiming to enjoy the wind in his hair as he stabs a man. Nagumo is also very playful with his opponents, evading and tricking Minimalist, a hardened serial killer, before handing him some dice to decide which of his blades he'd die by.
