Yin, the white half, is good-hearted, kind, honorable, and rational, whose intent is to balance out Yang, the black half, who is massively profane, malicious, and immoral. While Yin is happy to participate in challenges and actively tries to help out, Yang despises participation and typically enjoys the misfortune of other characters, and will lash out and attempt to harm others, including Yin.

While battling in BFDI, she was generally disliked by most of the contestants. Her personality is extremely one-dimensional, along with having an exceptionally short temper.
In Battle for BFDI, Flower initially somewhat retained her egocentric and narcissistic attitude, but she was noticeably less violent than before. Flower also has a much more softer side in BFB, and doesn't try and threaten anyone with death to get her way.

Teardrop's personality has been shrouded in mystery as she is either completely mute or prefers not to speak. However, she is portrayed as competitive and is fairly intelligent.

In BFDI, Firey spent a reasonable amount of time arguing and slapping Coiny.
However, from BFDIA and onwards, Firey completely ignores Leafy and has a blank expression whenever she is nearby.
Despite this, Firey still cares about Leafy.
Firey is also rather dim-witted.

Leafy is usually selfless and kind-hearted, helping people such as Ice Cube and Woody. She is typically very friendly and helpful, and she likes almost everyone. She is one of the calmest players. However, Leafy can be mean and cynical, and also acts entitled and upset when someone doesn't accept her kindness or even her gifts. She also has an ego, claiming that she is the nicest out of all people and even telling Bubble that there are 77 levels of niceness, which is a list she made herself
