Vinnie was born on the planet Mars and became a freedom fighter after the conquering race known as the Plutarkians devastated the planet, strip-mining it for its natural resources. Vinnie was imprisoned, but escaped along with two other like-minded rodents, Modo and Throttle. Fleeing a Plutarkian attack, the three mice took their motorcycles and escaped to the planet Earth. They set themselves up at the Last Chance Garage in Chicago, Illinois.

 Nappa is a mid-class Saiyan warrior from Planet Vegeta, and Vegeta's partner in combat. Prior to the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Nappa was the general of the Saiyan Army and aid/partner to the young prince, Vegeta. After his race's demise, he, along with Vegeta and Raditz, worked as soldiers directly under Frieza, which led him to Earth.

Tzekel-Kan is a vicious Mesoamerican priest in the city of El Dorado who has a fixation on human sacrifices. When Tulio and Miguel, two Spanish con-men, first arrive in the city, Tzekel-Kan immediately goes to serve them, taking them to be El Dorado's gods. While charismatic, commanding, influential and a bit unctuous, Tzekel-Kan is extremely cruel, power-hungry, bloodthirsty, scheming, manipulative, even unhinged and psychotic. He has quite an sadistic fondness for Ollamalitzli.

Middle Eye is Zero Wolf's antisocial right-hand man and the most violent, ruthless and sadistic member of the Maya warriors. Unlike others warriors who are simply ruthless who kills for conquering, Middle Eye goes an extra-mile enjoying taunting the captured prisoners and killing just for pleasure. Although being a part of the Maya community, he does not really care for his fellows, taking stuff of one of his fallen companion and saying he would want him to have it, despite no evidence of that.

Gigante is a member of the Dominators and the younger brother of his much smaller sibling David. He is intimidating by body but timid by mind, making him an unpredictably dangerous Wheeler with his River Beast Gil. Gigante is a calm headed yet impulsive boy who willingly abuses his physical prowess in order to intimidate people smaller then him. He is a natural bully which draws him to the Dominators. He also seems to be very independent, but respectful enough to take orders.

Throttle, the tan-furred leader-figure of the trio with a quiff. He is the most logical, level-headed, rational and calculating of the three. Throttle lost his sight in an incident on Mars that also caused the losses of Modo's right arm and the right side of Vinnie's face, and was fitted with bionic eyes while in captivity He also carries a holstered laser pistol and sports a leather biker vest, making him the only one of the trio to carry a conventional weapon or wear clothes without armor.
