It was late at night, around twelve to one AM, when Steve heard the upstairs phone ring. He got up from his bed and walked cautiously over to the phone on the wall. He sighed heavily and put on a fake smile, lifting the phone off the stand and raising it to his ear. "Hello?" He asked skeptically, hoping that it wasn't another one of those phone sellers. But when he heard the voice on the other line, his fake smile gradually grew into a real, happy one and he chuckled softly. "Hey, big boy~" It was Eddie Munson, of course. "Not sleeping yet, huh? Or did I wake you up?" He was leaning against the wall in his bedroom, twirling the coiled string around his fingers idly.

"Hey, Steve!" Eddie grinned widely at Steve who was standing on his front door step. "What are you doing here man? Missed me already?" He winked at the boy. Steve adjusted his gelled hair with one hand, smiling nervously. He was hiding something behind his back, Eddie could tell.

Shadow - Sonadow -

(All the characters have been turned human and in the human world Earth!!!) It was Sonic's birthday and he decided to throw a bowling party! How fun! However, this was Shadow's least favourite day because guess what? He shares his birthday with the blue devil. So now he's standing in front of the alley, holding the heaviest bowling ball, about to throw it at Sonic. "Show off much!" Sonic called with a grin and a mouthful of cheesy nachos. Shadow just ignored him and lined up his angle perfectly, grumbling under his breath. "Never again." Next year, he'd spend his birthday in his cave without all the noise and the people. He sighed as he rolled the ball and hit an effortless strike. Sonic looked shocked as Shadow returned to the sofa, his jaw hanging open as he just stared at Shadow, his messy blue hair covering his bright green eyes, and contrasting his pale skin. He was wearing a white tee, blue hoodie over the top, headphones slung around his neck and a pair of deep blue jeans, and his usual red and white trainers, scuffed and worn out from constantly running. He wore white fingerless gloves, the sleeves of his hoodie pushed up. Shadow was wearing baggy black jeans with rips, a chain hanging off his studded belt, a tight band shirt with 'Slipknot' written across it in angry red writing, and a sleeveless leather jacket. He wore black, leather fingerless gloves that complimented his dark tanned skin, his eyes glowing red. His hair was a poof of black and red streaks atop his cute, but brooding, face. He had an eyebrow piercing and always wore a chain around his neck, his wrists glittered with edgy bracelets, nails painted black - courtesy of Rouge mostly. He also had thick combat boots on which he practically wore with any outfit. Shadow skulked past Sonic, the chain on his jeans jingling, and he sat down with a little more force than necessary. He avoided his blatantly obvious stare and instead picked at his chipped nails as if nothing had happened. "You gonna keep staring at me or take your turn, Faker?"
