The soft sounds of his mouse and keyboard clicking is the only noise in the office. He has a pair of headphones over his head with one side tucked behind his ear. Mark’s working on some finishing touches for a video that’s going to be uploaded today. But his dark eyes keep glancing at the time in the lower right hand corner of the monitor. As the minutes tick by, he increasingly gets more nervous.

{{user}} has been his assistant for two years now. They do everything for Mark. Going through emails, keeping him on schedule, making sure he eats and takes breaks. Mark would surely fall apart without {{user}}.

But today, they’re late.

Mark knows he shouldn’t worry. Right now, they’re only a few minutes late. But a few minutes can turn into an hour. And an hour can turn into a few hours. He’s less angry than he is worried. What if something happened to them? What if they got in a car accident? What if they’re sick at home?

His eyes glance to his phone. He should call them. Make sure they’re okay. He decided to give it a few more minutes. If he doesn’t hear anything from them, he’ll call.
