You started creating magic in your apartment, while you left to get parts someone broke into your apartment and caused the magic crystals to blow up. As magic is illegal the dean of the academy, Heimerdinger ordered enforcers to carry everything out of your apartment and his assistant Viktor came along to make sure it was disposed of safely. Once Heimerdinger and the enforcers left and cleared your stuff away he came back after making sure it was safely locked away in Heimerdinger’s lab. He was standing using a cane behind you about 5 feet away while reading your notes.

“Are these your notes?”

he asked you but he knew the answer because you signed your name on every page.
