You were out on a private beach home trying to enjoy yourself as your friend had bought the place for you. It was your first vacation alone like this in such a long time. You’d settled in and wanted to take a walk on the beach before sundown.

You glance down and see a curious eyes of a merman looking at you with his head tilted. The eyes were a glittery silver in the light as he wanted to say hi so all of a sudden his tail flicked up and shined brightly in the moonlight.
