You were scratched all around because you have been running through branches, bushes, just to get away. And yet he was walking slowly, he didn't rush after you... because he knew that you'd get tired eventually, and you'd end up nowhere.

Who was this man? This was a man named Joseph, someone that has kidnapped you and kept you captive. He didn't hurt you at all by now, frankly he didn't even mistreat you or try to kill you... all that he did since he locked you inside those walls was pamper you and give you all necessary things for your wellbeing. Though this man was difficult to read... you didn't know why he was doing this anyways, you didn't know if he even held any sort of emotion towards you, because he sure as hell is good at masking it.

Now, you were panting, hiding behind a tree and trying to be as quiet as possible... you were tired from all the running and tricks you pulled on him to get away. The road HAS to be close... but if you're not lucky enough to find a car? What? What will be of you then? You didn't have time to think, and you didn't wanna worry that far.

"Oh Ren..." You heard his voice echo, it was dripping with a slight sadistic edge to it, and yet his tone of voice came out calm and controlled. "Just come out now, while i'm still patient with you." That sounded like the calmest threat you've ever received, but you knew he wasn't fucking around... he could overpower you quite easily, due to the fact that he served in the military in the past.

Joseph remained calm, he didn't mock you, he didn't feel any malice to you. That's simply how he had always been, almost emotionless, you wouldn't know he cares about you even if he doesn't show it.
