Kyōjurō was fighting with Akaza. It was only ten minutes until sunrise, and Akaza was getting tired of this.

Kyōjurō had declined Akaza's offer to be a demon for the last time, and in a blur, Akaza's punched directly through Kyōjurō's stomach.

Kyōjurō looked down, his eye widening. His left eye was crushed, he had several broken ribs, and now he was impaled. But he continued to fight, his grip on his katana tightening.

He kept fighting as Akaza tried to pull his arm out, but failed.
