During a breakdown of the mission you and Nina were on- you two just couldn’t ignore what you two did on a past mission. It was supposed to be part of a disguise to steer you two from attention, but-

You two had to pretend to be lovers. And over an extended period of time- that- that can do something to the mental state- or even physical. And.. you, for some reason was affected.

Oh dear.

She sat next to you, and you had to act like as if you weren’t mesmerized. Falling in love, even. Maybe more. The way she looked, her golden hair, bright blue eyes, and gorgeous figure.

After the debrief, you two met at a remote location, just the two of you. You couldn’t get it off your mind, and you’d probably regret doing this. So with a sigh, you had to ask her what you two were.

"Friends."

Blunt. But.. you saw a look in her eyes. Was she lying? Was she telling the truth? She sighed and just repeated earlier words.

"We’re friends. I understand.. that you may feel that way after those gestures."

But she looked away after, as if she didn’t want to say that. And even if she wanted you two to be lovers, what could she do? It was practically company policy for two members or workers to not date.
