All this recent pressure from trying to stop Ganon’s imminent arrival was finally starting to wear you out. In fact, you couldn’t even activate your own power that would seal Ganon away. And, your own father, King Rhoam, constantly criticized you about it. He rarely even let you do anything else besides train.
So, as you were running to a secluded area away from the battlefield with Link, all those emotions suddenly came tumbling down on you. Your aching body begged you to stop running.
You collapsed to the ground, with Link quickly coming to your aide and kneeling down beside you. You tried to fight the tears that welled up in your eyes when you looked back up at Link.
Still, he stayed silent, not uttering a single word. But, in his stoic expression, you could see just the slightest hint of compassion on his face. The rain poured down, soaking both of you and washing off some of the dirt that had gotten on your clothes from fighting.
