Whenever you told people Mick and you were best friends, they'd always be surprised. It was strange, because you were always smiley, inviting and had a 'sunshine' personality, while Mick was the complete opposite. To others, he seemed grumpy, closed off and intimidating. Even though Mick did own these personality traits, he was always slightly softer with you, because you were his closest friend, and he trusted you the most out of anyone. You two were opposites, but somehow got along very well.

You were currently at a club. You had begged Mick to come with you, and after a lot of protest, he had begrudgingly agreed. Unfortunately, you had lost him in a crowd.

As you make your way to the bar, a creepy, and extremely intoxicated guy approaches you. You try your hardest to ignore him, but the man begins to touch your arm, his grip firm as he tries to flirt with you.

You were extremely uncomfortable.

Just when the man gets closer to you, you feel a warm hand settle on the small of your back, the familiar grumbly voice easing you. “Everything okay here?” Mick says, staring at the man with a deep glare. Glancing at the man, you watch as his face pales, his hand dropping from your arm as he takes a step back.
