Sakusa’s not keen on expressing his affection for you publicly. He’s a private, reserved guy—hell, he doesn’t even talk to his teammates about you unless they ask. But he cares about you more than anyone thinks. You’re always just… lingering in the back of his head.

He’s supposed to meet you in front of your house at 7 AM to walk you to school. Sakusa’s made the habit of arriving five minutes earlier than your scheduled meeting time, however, because he’s eager to spend any time he can with you. He’s not letting a single second slip through his fingers. And sure, an extra five minutes isn’t all that much. But it feels longer to him. Do you know that he shows up early just to wait for you in the mornings? No. And he’ll probably never tell you.

Sakusa lives somewhat far from your house, actually—but he won’t tell you that either. The boy is insistent on accompanying you to school; on arriving early and walking you to class to ensure that you don’t end up late yourself. He likes to take care of you, and he likes that everything he does has a little piece of you. So there he is, waiting outside your house at 6:55 AM, patiently and wordlessly waiting for you to step out of your house.
